Mikkeli,entinen kotikaupunki,ihania muistoja, niin monia asioita on muuttunut, silti se on ihana öapsuusmuistojen paikka ...siellä oli se oikea koti,ja on vieläkin!

After the main city in Pohjois Savo- Kuopio, now the main city in Etelä Savo- Mikkeli:)) By the way with Mikkeli you've been already in 17 from top 20 largest cities in Finland. Even top 22( Porvoo i Kokkola are 21th and 22nd). Only Pori(10th), Seinäjoki(16th) and Salo(19th) are left. Mikkeli is nice city with little wooden cozy railway station, big kauppatori and gorgeous cathedral! Also the Muisti keskus looks very interesting historical place. Kiitos to show this town to all of us, amazing walk!

Thanks! Gotta film Pori, Seinäjoki and Salo at some point. I have filmed in Pori region but not in the city centre yet :)

Yeah, I remember about Yyteri beach and Noormarkku works walks around Pori. You have even a chilling video in Salo area.

@@Polulla Salo is my hometown! I recommend to film there on summer thursday. Then there is that Iltatori event. Salo have had some economical difficulties after year 2012, when Nokia's factory left the city🙁 Before the year 2012 the city really shone and was rich. Very sad destiny for a city. I still think it's a very good city! Not bad at all, as some people say. City still has some hope! I recommend to come here👍👍

At the early 90's, Mikkeli was still city full of life. Soon after common folks started to use cell phones and accustomed to it, especially when internet came and conquered us all... our city died. It's nowadays hard to find living beings here to talk with or get to know anyone new. Everybody communicate through devices instead f2f. And mainly with ppl. who already are in their contact list, of course. So its basically same situation as elsewhere in the world. *We're being digitalized!*

In early 90's here was even small and active underground techno culture, illegal raves and all. Althgough, it all vanished already in the mid to late 90s. All cool graffitis you still might see here and there, were also made back then. From late 80's to early 90's.

Mikkeli on näitä kaupunkeja joissa väkiluku vähenee ja on menossa kohti unohdusta. Valitettavasti aivan liian hitaasti.
