Walk Around and Overview: 2023 BMW M5 Competition (Last Pure ICE M5, in Alvite Grey)!

In today’s video, we’re doing a walk around and overview with this 2023 BMW M5 Competition! This M5 is finished in Alvite Grey Metallic over Silverstone Merino Leather Interior. It is shown wearing 20” 789M wheels. The M5 features BMW’s S63 V8 engine paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to either all 4 wheels, or just the rear wheels, depending on how the M xDrive system is configured. The M5 Competition produces 617 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This is enough to propel the M5 Competition to 60mph in just 3.2 seconds.

Alvite grey looks the same as C U Later Gray for the Supra, just like how the Supra's Stratosphere blue is a renamed Portimao blue. Both are beautiful colors new for 2023 :)

Both gorgeous colors for sure! I believe C U Later Grey is based on Sparkling Copper Metallic, but very similar to Alvite nonetheless.

Black over White is an awesome combo. We had an M3 in that combo not long ago, with the Carbon Bucket seats. Looked great!
You have alot of knowledge about the small details of BMWs. Most dealerships seem kind of clueless or dont care.

It will come to the next gen M5 for sure! With a new model on the horizon, BMW figured they'd leave the F90 alone screen wise with only one model year left in the production run.

What is the difference between Dravit Grey Metallic and Alvite Grey Metallic

Good question. Dravit is definitely darker, and more of a true grey. Alvite is more dynamic, with more metallic flake, and a more nuanced color profile. Alvite has shades of blue, pink and gold.
Are there any active shutters?

Alvite Grey is beautiful so much nicer than Dravit Grey, I wonder if BMW would accept the new 2023 x7 m60i as special ind color ordered in Alvite Grey…..

@@bmwofmorristown9038 already put in an order for frozen pure grey - I wish I would have known I had other options :) but frozen is beautiful if my week 40 build gets delayed I’ll def look at alternatives. Another dealer in ca was saying on here (Mountain View BMW) two of their frozen grey orders placed in august were delayed to 01-2023 🥴😵

@@benelevli4290 If it says hands-free tailgate on your window sticker, it will work by kicking your foot under the bumper. If not, it is impossible to do. There is no setup.
no screens or entertaining system for the back seat??? :(((

Not in the M5. To my knowledge, that has never been an option in the M5.

It's definitely a great-looking car! Luckily the anniversary badge is optional for those that prefer the standard roundel.
Man, that initial sharp turn out of the garage at the very beginning had me cringing 😖

It's quite a spacious trunk! I don't think you'd have any trouble at all fitting two full-size suitcases.

It's subtle, as the M5 always has been. You're money goes towards the sleeper yet strong aesthetics, and of course, the powertrain and performance capability.
Totally pathetic; This is a performance car and 18 minutes are spent on showing physical characteristics. Nothing on driving and handling. Catering to an American market; what a waste!!!

These are unsold, dealer inventory cars that we're showcasing. We would LOVE to be able to drive the cars and provide driving impressions, but we don't want to add miles to a new vehicle before a customer receives it, or risk anything happening to the cars before they are sold.
Really not a fan of the new Bmw's.
