Thanks for watching Drew! The diesel heater works great we camped last night and it kept the whole crew warm in the cold BC weather lol :) that F350 is sweet #goals . Your travels looks awesome!! Australia looks beautiful.

Im suprised at how big the yoho is- its got everything ! ....canceled my order a year ago,been shopping- but in the process again now- getting the Kenai. !

Thanks for the walkaround man. I have a 5ft bed Nissan Frontier and have been looking into the Yoho Scouts (comparing against Kimbo and other mid size truck camper options) as an upgrade from my GFC. I really liked the pro you mentioned about being able to move the gear in and out of the truck camper to be used outside or in other rigs (fridge and stove) thats a pro in my book for sure!

Sweet looking set up ! I was just at the GFC factory a couple weeks ago checking out their tents. I love the light inside them especially with the orange vs grey fabric. Stay tuned for Scouts announcement next month :) they may have something sweet coming for your Frontier. The portable options are sweet . Even if the power goes out you still have some power lol

Love your Scout videos!!! I have a quick question I am hoping you might have some information about the running lights on a 2022 YOHO that are not coming on- I plugged a 4 pin cable in order to pull a second square drop camper. When I plugged it in the lights stopped working. The fuses are good in my 2017 RAM and I am getting 12 volts coming out of the truck’s receiver. Is there a fuse in the camper itself? Any suggestions?

Hey Tate, thanks for watching! The Scouts need to be connected to the truck via 7 way . If you are towing a trailer that just needs lights , it would likely run off a seperate 4 way if you had one installed . If you are running the camper off a 7 way , the clearance lights should work . Support@amlrv.com would be able to send you a wiring diagram if needed . Hopefully you can get it working !

I think you should have covered the storage capacities between the three models.

Hello Ryan thanks for your videos. keep em coming. Say I curently put a deposit on Kenia sight unseen. Questions? 1: I see a hose & coupler at the back right corner of that 2023 Kenai, is that a factory propane outlet hookup for an external BBQ. 2022 I belive didn't have that. 2: Always ever see two external roto paks on every Scout, like in this video. Scout website pricing is confusing though. Listed as: "external 2 gal water pak". So does that mean One 2 gal pack? or Two 2 gal pack? Asking because the 2022 Kenia used to have TWO 10 gal propane tanks and now in 2023 only comes with ONE. 3. Is there a passthrough for a 120 Volt hook-up on Kenia? Say like if, on the ocasion I'm at a camp site or at homne with 120v? and can I charge goal zero off 120v? Now for the big ask. I live some 20+ hours away from the dealer. I want to pick up my new Kenia and start my 2-month holiday immediately. However, I'd like to buy some containers to place in all the cubbies holes, under stove, under goal zero & benches. Dilemma don't know the Width X Hight X Length. Would be in your dept if you could make a video or list web link stating dimensions.

Hey Rotor, I'm away camping right now so I'll give you quick answers but if you email sales@scoutcampers.com , Kent will be able to get you any missing information. 1)I'm not 100% what you are referring to but there is an exterior propane connect in the propane compartment on all 2023s. I run a 10' hose from that connect to use my cooktop outside 2)the 2023s now only have an option for 1 x 2 gal rotopax. Some 2023s still had two installed but Scout now only options one tank (you could install your own second tank and bracket) 3)I run the power cord from the goal zero thru to the exterior via the pass thru to charge it at campsites or from my garage etc. With an extension cord all the time so it's 100% there ! (The pass thru) Sales@scoutcampers.com will be able to get you any needed measurements! Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any others questions. Best, Ryan

So with the kenai do you have to opt in for the diesel heater? Or can i opt out and still get the propane heater cause i love the kenai but i really want the propane heater mainly cause i love the ascetic of the flame.

you can opt out of the diesel heater. If you are looking for a Dickinson heater, many Scout dealers could install one for you. If you are planning to pick up at the factory, the service team could potentially install a Dickinson for you. However, the diesel heater does have many benefits such as being higher btu, has a temperature controller (don't need to get up at 3am to turn it off lol) , drier heat, better in altitudes and the with the new duct, the heat can be pushed lower to the floor.

The Tuktut or Yoho can both potentially work ! Tacomas can be a bit light on payload so I'd look at adding air bags at a minimum. Please let me know if you have any questions or you can reach out to sales@scoutcampers.com

No returns on goal zero which is terrible and notorious for failing. Also alot of people complaining of leaks

Interesting.. goal Zero is usually super helpful. You have on with an issue and they aren't helping ? I haven't heard of leaks recently . Do you have a leak in yours ?

@@nomadicvet something seems off as goal Zero is usally really good if there is a warrantable issue. I haven't heard of many "refunds" because it's a standard feature on the Scouts and not an option. I do know they will replace. I would get in touch with Scouts support team at support@amlrv.com to discuss further.
