Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatahu With the name of Allah... Fast changing world may take us away from giving the right respect and honour our parents deserve.. 35 ways: 1. Phones off in their presence go kiss... *go kids.. 2. Be a good listener.. Listening is 80% of Communication. 3. Keep their opinion the peak it deserves. Allah's happiness is in the happiness of our parents and Allah's anger is in the anger of our parents. 4. Be conversant with them. You are the most dear to them they prayed to have you with them...they deserve to talk to you. 5. Give them Respect. How much do we give Respect to a boss who keeps nagging us and talking rudely with us (unacceptable no matter how much we are getting paid...we deserve to be respected and deserve the job not begging for employment.)...so now how much do we show respect to the one who keeps encouraging us and pushing us to be our best. 6. Don't talk to them with bad manners. Nagging, making fun, being rude and showing anger is unacceptable in the Manners-of Islam...Allah says-Do not say uff (loudly exhaling) to your parents. 7. Share good news with them. It will bring joy to them...that you are happy. 8. Don't share bad news with them. Even if they are having a great weekend they will still be worried and cancel all their plans..when they hear that you didn't score well in a test which doesn't even matter in the long run. 9. Talk good about their friends and keep good relationship with their friends. Remember the friends of our parents also have similar rights in Islam as our parents... 10. Write down and keep recalling their good memories and naseehah. Write down how much they appreciate your little accomplishment like when we started to walk in our childhood which we don't even remember and forget about without any appreciation. 11. Take benefit from their experience and mistakes... A muslim is not bitten by the same hole twice. 12. Do not discuss the bad memories of the past. Do not make them remember something they didn't do for you or get for you...they tried their best. 13. Keep any unnecessary talks away in their presence. 14. Behave and Sit in a respectable manner. 15. Avoid smallest of difference of opinion. 16. Do not cut them when they talk/give their opinion on something. Remember listening is 80% of Communication. 17. Listen to what they keep repeating again and again like as if they are saying it for the first time with full attention, appreciation and love in our eyes. They love to share their good memories with you...It shows how much they are happy that you are with them. 18. Abstain from scolding and hitting your kids in front of them. Firstly if someone hit you will they feel good,how about a cuter and weaker version of you... secondly how much it will hurt them to see their child raising hand on a weaker person,not able to manage their anger and not able to properly raize kids,bad parenting. 19. Accept their verdict and suggestions. They may not be able to convey it properly but they only want what is right for you. 20. In their presence take only their guidence. It is their right..they are your heaven and hell. 21. No raizing your voice. Why do you want to hurt yourself? 22. Do not hesitate to supress yourself and your ego for their happiness...You can atleast do this much right?? They were the ones to spend sleepless nights whe you have any dis-ease. It was them who could have thrown you in a dust-bin when you were as little as a mango...they have done extreme mercy on us. 23. Always Give them Importance. 24. Do not show any indication of tiredness in front of them. 25. Turn yourself towards them when you talk to them. 26. Encourage them and appreciate them. 27. If you are unable to express your feelings and emotions write them a letter that I am sure they will cherish and preserve for the rest of their life. 28. Keep them in your prayers. Scholars say-The person who does not supplicate for their parents in every fard prayer then it is injustice as the rights of parents are not fulfilled. 29. Keep visiting them. If you live away from them...keep a check on things they can forget. 30. Call them with lovely names. 31. Use best of Language and words when you talk with your PARENTS. When you talk with them don't forget the way you speak to new colleagues at a new job. May Allah help us to be good Children and enter the paradise from this door. The best of children are those who do the chores before their parents mention them...be pro-active. Implementing the knowledge in our Action is power.. Prophet Muhammad often supplicated to be prevented from the knowledge that does not benefit. You can apply these,share with others when you see them opressing the right of their parents and add more from yourself. Jazakumulllahu Khairan. Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatahu.

Jahan tak husn-e-salook ki baat hai, bilkul sahi farmaya hai, lekin itaat aur farmaberdari sirf Allah aur uske Rasool (p.b.u.h) k liye hai. Ate ul walidain kahin nahi mentioned hai. Correct me with reference if am wrong.
