Wonderful Hotel we stood at the four seasons across the street. Hope we can stay there soon.

It is a great hotel, though the price-performance ratio is definitely better at the Conrad. And yes, we saw the Four Seasons across the street :-)

Sad to hear about the welcome letter and welcome amenity both missing. It is not typical of WA. Hope you still enjoyed your stay ;)

Not to forget the missing mail in advance and the wrong addressing in the mail afterwards 🤣 It may sound petty, but if I pay twice as much as I would in a hotel 10 minutes away, the details have to be right. Especially with the name, it must be possible in the system to distinguish the column for the salutation from the column for the surname ... but the stay itself was nice and the restaurant is amazing 👏

Very useful video.. But I didn't get the breakfast part, did it have caviar or not ? Also how would you rate their breakfast compared to other hotels? One more thing.. Does there lobby or entrance areas have enough seating (if a senior would want to wait there for some reason).. Many thanks in advance

Sorry for the late reply, was on the road for the next video footage! They did have caviar for additional 45 AED (~10€ / 12 $) and truffles for additional 55 AED. The rest was fully included - and it was amazing. I mean... have a look at the scenes from breakfast - for sure one of the highlights and I've really loved the breakfast here. The selection in the Conrad is larger, but the Waldorf's was more high class. Dinner and breakfast here were for sure one of the best in Dubai (and also the staff at both was great and professional)! I've also checked the footage material to find out if there was some seating possibility: yes, there are some red comfortable chairs around the front desk and it will never be crowded there. But even if, you can walk 10 steps further to the bar area shown in the video and have a rest there, since this is directly next to the front desk.

That's not perfectly in the UAE. :-) We've indeed been to the Hilton Malta in 2018 - long before we started this vlog. :-) The hotel was nice - the 20 minutes waiting in the breakfast queue was not :-P But it deserves a second chance. I'll put it on the list! :-)

really great info as I was looking to book this hotel soon..if I heard correctly, diamond members get upgraded to a suite?

In my opinion the Conrad is superior in many points and is usually half the price. And the chef in the lounge of the Conrad is amazing. :-)

One more thing: if you book the lowest suite in the Conrad, it is usually still cheaper than the standard room in Waldorf - and you have for sure a suite. We did this at our second visit and were even upgraded one category to the Executive suite in the Conrad (video to follow).

As I said... this here is nice, but not my first choice. I prefer Habtoor Palace, the V Hotel, Hilton Al Habtoor or the Conrad.
