Most of my friends and I (craftsmen in Germany) have a different routine. The alarm clock rings at 04:45, get dressed, brush your teeth, drink coffee and at 05:15 we are on our way to work.

Bruh, why so early? If you're in a trade where you have to work with customers, like electrician or plumber, I wouldn't want to meet the first customer before 8am... or are you working in a factory with shifts?
@kailars

Because it's nice to be back at home early and have the afternoon off lazying! Mornings are crisp and serene and one gets stuff done. Not only craftsmen, all kinds of employees too, government here in Berlin had to forbid its tax employees and others to clock in before 7, so now most still come in and clock in later.

@@jano1574 I used to have to communte for 2 hours in total everyday in my job as an industry electrician. So to be able to clock in at 6am (official start of the working time) I usually had to wake up at 04:30, get my morning routine done and have a small breakfast so that I could start driving before 5am to be there in time and work until 3pm. After driving home it was already 4pm in the afternoon. The advantage of it was that I only had to do this from Monday-Thursday and on Friday I would go home at noon and start my weekend at 1pm.
I love this format! What a great idea of how to share those statistics hahahaha

0:23 6:23 am, now you know why we are such a grumpy nation ☹ I would like to add that if you work in a bigger company and enter the company premises early in the morning, most people look down at their feet so as not to have to say "good morning" to the other employees.

After some time living in Germany, I now realize I have been Germanized... not with breakfast though, I come from a country that has three warm meals per day.
I agree , i prefer to wear in the summer when it`s very warm, because you don`t sweat in them. And only a light blanket to cover you.🙂👍🌷

When you are in Germany, do as German. Thank for sharing. It is a terrific video about German culture.
0:30 Spain and Portugal are actually in the same timezone as the UK, so they should really be 1 hour behind European Central Time (ECT). Consequently, they're actually waking up at around her same time as the Germans.
Wake up at 6 without any snooze ✅ Take a shower every morning ✅ Spazierengehen ✅ Leave the window open even in winter ✅ Only been living in Germany for 3.5 years. wurde eingedeutscht, bevor ich das überhaupt merkte. xD

Super david bro ✌️👌✨🎉🎉
If I got up at 6:22, I would be 22 minutes late for work. I'm usually awake 10 minutes after 5, dressed, cleaned, on the toilet and on the way to work by 5:25 at the latest. Changing at work doesn't take more than 5 minutes. Then another 10 - 15 minutes chilling in the lounge and then off we go.
I live in Germany and I can confirm. I think I've greeted my neighbors only 3 times last year.

How do the other Germans start their day? Get up at 11:00, still having a hangover, lighting up a cigarette, than asking themselves: do I have to go the Arbeitsamt today? If the answer is yes - than drink a red bull and start to get ready for your appointment at 15:00. If the answer is no - than drink a beer, take a good breath from your bong and go back to sleep.
Sausages seems like a strange translation for Aufschnitt, eventhough it's also called Wurst. But it's in the secular and the plural would be Wurstaufschnitt, so I would never call it sausages, but something like sliced sausage ham.

Germans for me are like a python program encoded with some daily tasks that must be done. The last scene of the neighbour hints to that. The program has greeted the neighbor once so there is no command for another greeting
