Congratulations to Stephen Ray on SHIMAKO for taking home First Place Kingfish Trophy & a $3,000 Prize with a 48.5 pounder. The inlet got a little rough at times, SHIMAKO took a wave to the face!

I would like to thank you for making these videos . When my dad was alive he and I would go down to a public boat ramp on the Connecticut river ( called Haddam meadows ) and sit for hours just watching the boats . It got to the point that my mom would have to make us lunch for we were there for so long . I look back in retrospect and have to laugh as we had are own parking spot and were there so often I believe some folks thought we worked for the State of Connecticut . It was one of the happiest times of my life . Please keep the videos coming . Right dad ???

That little Sea-Doo did better than I expected in those conditions. I wonder if the intake is stock with no cavitation
3 to 4 foot chop separates the men from the boys. •Are you dry, or are you soaking wet? •Are you pounding the hull, or gliding and spanning over the top of the waves? Maybe your boat can go fast on flat days, but let’s be serious; how many days are perfect conditions all the time?

The HCB has to be the biggest Centre console I have seen! Two common threads I’m seeing is 1, yanks love CCs and 2, you have one speed - flat chat 🤣🤣

And yes we do love CCs lol. Hard to beat a boat that’s both practical and pretty fast.
I have a seadoo speedster. Those people are going to be sore after a day out in those waves

I don't see the purpose of this boat. Help me out!!!! Many boats draft the same or less. There aren't many rocks here to ding your prop. The motor is more difficult to work on and less reliable than an outboard. Gas mileage worse. Most likely lamination and materials are subpar when compared to actual boat builder. Is it cheaper? I guess like you said it's good for doing 360's or something

@@lutherbonow5047 It's a good river or small lake boat. Not great where there's big waves or choppy water. I guess also a nice option for those that worry about their kids and props. Not a good boat for the ocean

It is a fishing tournament, there are prizes for biggest kingfish, dolphin and wahoo
