Three years ago, we introduced you to Wajima Urushi for the first time. After meeting and observing the craftsmen at work in the lacquer studio, we gained a wealth of knowledge about the importance of Urushi in modern Japanese life.
This time, we had another wonderful opportunity to interview Mr. Takahiro Taya from Taya Shikiten to gain insights into more stories behind Japanese lacquer.
