    @@hockeypanda4987 @Hockey Panda You're right, the titular line is. But many pieces of the song are framed more like a metaphor ("I am wood, and you are glue;" "my legs are carved for you"). I suppose you could say the "like" or "as" are assumed given the title, but still.

    Yes!! It all goes back to the Ronettes classic “Be My Baby” from 1963. That drum beat is like an instant shortcut to wholesome 60s nostalgia and now you’re going to notice it everywhere!
