I just heard this song for the first time today, and it's hitting me hard as a person that struggles with this very thing. The hardest thing in the world is trying to decide between waiting for that person that you have a deep love for and moving on. I don't think you should wait for someone because you should have been right for them from the beginning. You should inspire the same feelings in the person you're in love with. Otherwise, you're throwing away the opportunity to find the person who you'll actually awaken those feelings for. That's my current thinking anyways.

It sounds an awful like blessed but he's saying it with a Jamaican accent, PLACED, besides placed makes more sense than blessed...
