    One way to help solve your fuel problems is convert.That truck to a single draw.Single return with a cross over. That will help you out. Stay safe out there, brother.Some days are frustrating.

  • @thedirtytrucker9633

    @thedirtytrucker9633

    That’s definitely a way to fix the draw issue. I love this setup and works well when it’s working good and want to convert the 359 to this system just for the returns the go to both tanks for cold weather. I’ve got everything fixed now and they are within two gallons on a fill up now

    Man I tipped 2 guys good at that truck wash on 64 in Indiana one day. Got me all shined up, went across the street to pilot. Parked front row to show off my shiny unit. I walked out and the bastards didn’t even wash the passenger side stack. Never tipped anyone else.

    Feel your pain. I've been there and done that. Older equipment is definitely a challenge. But at least you don't have to worry about replacing a 10.000 def system or an electronic dash. It will get better when you get the problems worked out. Hang in there truck driver.

  • @thedirtytrucker9633

    It’s a challenge for sure. One thing about it is I don’t have huge payments and I’ve always got lots of equity in my equipment. I can go home when I want to and if I need to sell anything I’m going to come out way ahead.

    I've fixed 2 trucks that had just enough algae growth that it would flake off from the interior of the tank and plug up the filters constantly. I threw in a handful of 1/4 inch bolts to scrub the tank while the fuel sloshed, after driving with the bolts, drain the fuel and drop the tanks. put blankets down to keep from damaging them, add 10 gals of gas , roll and slosh it around till your tanks are clean, remove the 1/4 bolts. i would use biocide for a few weeks but your tanks will be clean. Hope this helps if you've got algae growing producing the black flakes that plug filters.
