Yep, this movie is everything I've been saying to people. Though I think 3 is better than 4.

I guess Chameleon is supposed to be as you say, anti-po, a character completely antithetical to the spirit and philosophy of Kung Fu in these films, hard work. Basically every furious five member other than Monkey worked hard to become the legends they are despite the supposedly bad cards they were dealt. Chameleon just did not do this, and looked into sorcery to just steal the hard work from others. But I really just don’t care about Chameleon, so obviously that nuance of not being accepted by Kung Fu teachers needed to be explored further, and preferably in a way that mirrors Po and has more of a connection with his origin.

Ok I’m realising now I wonder how Chameleon reacted to seeing Mantis, Master Chicken, Master Shifu, and her adopted daughter thief Zhen all learn Kung Fu, all smaller or as small than her, does she still think she has no agency because the senseis are rejecting her? It really did need further exploration

It is a good movie, but it was the weakest. Because the trilogy was so good, people expect it to be a very very good movie.

Zhen has a cool design.

I do agree with you but the movie is still MID in my Opinion

I’m kinda questioning on why Shifu could tell him “Your not the dragon warrior anymore”. Chameleon could just keep looking though. 🤷‍♂️ The climax wasn’t a lot because…..we kinda expected it because they kinda show us in the trailers and promos. And no, Tai Lung should’ve gotten a proper redemption because the first film he had too much rage to even think but at the spirit realm he could’ve had plenty of time to think there. Zhen, no I don’t really like her aside of being voiced by Aquafina. How did she learn Kung fu fighting style? Can’t be from Chameleon because she never learned and if she did then what’s the point of stealing Kung Fu in the first place?
