@BRDGNG good review vid. One correction tho the blades aren't the same. T-Wide is exclusive to Wahl. If you take a closer look at the blades you will see the teeth are more shallow on the stationary blade of the T-Wide than the Andis. Also the angle in which the cutting blade and the stationary blade meet is steeper than the Andis allowing for more precision which is also why you would feel the blade being more abrasive than the Superliner blade. They are similar in function but somewhat different in design.

I'm a barber in training and I do my fair share of cutting heads everyday. My main clippers (aka hitters) are my super liners. I love how it's kinda a deep tooth blade but also that a shave is included. They are so great for clean up.

I got the Wahl Razor edger and shape shaver . been using Lectric Shave Williams when i shave and i like it lot . you cant go wrong with oster too. hope to learn more form you. keep up the good work

I can remember when I bought the super liners about 7 years ago. I never could get the blades adjusted the way I like and ended up giving them to my brother in law. If the blade adjustment is different now I may try them again.

Im tryin to learn and just got a Wahl designer that came with a peanut trimmer. but I think it's too small for shape ups and doing my beard. Was choosing in between these 2, thanks 4 the video. superliner it is

i had the detailers, the motor was weakening after 2 years, i opened them and it seems like there's a circuit board attached near the switch, a resistor of some sort burned out. 2 years wasnt bad though. im gonna check out those andis though.

I have been a Barber since 1990. I have always used Andis Styliner II. They were strong, cut close, durable and reliable. I'm not sure but I think they quit making the Styliner II. I cannot find any to buy and the ones that I do find for sale are selling for $700.00+ Anyway, I have not found any clipper that can hold up to the Styliner II. Based on what you said I will try the Andis SuperLiner. I'll get back to you and let you know if the SuperLiner can hold up to my standards. Good video by the way. Keep up the good work.

BRDGNG, question. I've been using the Wahl Detailers for about 2 years. Lately, I've noticed the hook that holds the wire spring that allows the blade to glide back and forth keeps breaking. That causes the spring to fall out of place and the blade looses its power and doesn't vibrate as strong. Have you experienced this issue? Thanks

anyone know whats wrong with my super liners? They sound smoothe when they are upright but as soon as they tilt at all or are upside down they make the loudest rumbling gurgling sound and they are not cutting nearly as good as they did out of the box. Ive inly had them for 3 or so months, and i take care of them mint so whats going on? Anyone please help.

Just got ordered the andis liners. Looked at a few reviews and this one convinced me. But now I'm looking at vids after and I think I should just send them back? I wanted to use them for head shaving but looks like that's not so hot

had 3 detailers in a year and the motor goes out fast so far my best pick is the Wahl Heroes and take off that case Cover so it won't tap the forehead while lining .

Video is a lifesaver Andis Superliner sounds and look like the real deal. Always thought Wahl was top, but it always breaks on me in less than 6-12 months. (Makes that annoying loud noise and that's pretty much when it becomes useless). Great and interesting video! I'm subscribing no doubt!

What trimmer would you get, the superliner or the andis outliner? I'm not sure exactly would suit me best..

Interesting video and review! Those superliners are more durable the wahl detailer is not they always break but the blades are sharp and would probably do a better job than Andis. However you can get the superliners to hit like the detailers by adjusting the blades but its not that easy to get them on point..

After 6 months my Andis Superliner started to rattle and to not go that bald, it bites my hair and sounds like hell, it seems it has lost it sharp. I now have to get a new one but don't want another Andis, so for all trimmed short hair (0.4 aprox) should I give the Wahl Detailers a chance? I don't like full shaved, just full 0.2-0.4. Thanks

Can you post a link to where you got the Andis SuperLiner that includes the shaver? Checked on Amazon and they aren't included. If no link, tell us which store. I was thinking about getting the Wahl shaver with different heads but might not now.

my andis blade just jamed still moving but winter cut at all just pulls. 2nd time now only replaced them 8 weeks ago I oil them never change from stock gap why is this.

Detailer is a better trimmer or it hits better it's not as durable true but them super liners ain't it. I do want to see what the bevel is all about tho but what I use at the shop is a pair of detailers (on my 3'rd pair) and sty liners 2 that's all I need trimmer wise. I also have the m3's they hit but the housing gets hot

It dont matter which one I buy , I suck at shaping up my beard even after years of practice. I bought also Wahl detailers and broke twice . Im giving up as in also very OCD when it comes to my beard being perfect😟

I've never had a problem talking with Wahl. I've sent 4-5 trimmers back to them which I paid to ship. And didn't have to pay for the new trimmers they sent me.

andis is a beast!!!!!! my ex wife bought me a pair 25 years ago here in germany for 75 pfennings. about 25 cents or so ..it was a clearance sale. i still got them. but i dropped them about 5 or six times over the years. then i messed up the head by putting super glue on them. i was trying to save them looool. i went on strike and didnt save or cut my hair for 2 weeks. then i found out my cousin here HAD THE EXACT same pair but his motor was dead. i going to change the motor out tomorrow. great video. i just subbed. keep'em coming.. 1

Hmm. May pick up a Superliner to see whats good. Loving that the trimmers come with a shaver attachment. Been using the Detailers for like a year. I have two pairs. I zero gap them both. Didnt have a problem with the housing but wouldn't be surprised if housing did crack on other people's trimmers. Wahl CS sounds really disappointing. Makes zero sense to me to pay for shipping both ways AND pay for repair if product is still under warranty smh. Better off just buying a whole new trimmer. In regards to having more power with corded vs cordless. eh. Thinks its more a mental thing. I have a few corded and cordless trimmers and shavers and it really just comes down to re-charging your cordless products when u need to. Not to recharge them all the time cause u can f up the battery but after like 2 or 3 shaves then pop them back in for a charge and u should be good. My andis profoil li shavers I dont have to charge as often as my 5 star shavers. due to them having a lithium battery. I will say never liked the Wahl shaver in the video. I had em and they broke on me after a few mnths. Also the only diff I saw with those vs the 5 stars were the fact that those had multi shaver heads u could swap out. Other then that...eh. Good review overall. Much appreciated!

ok. one more honest opinion. I've been using this for like 4 days now and the pro foil attachment is heaven!! in clippers people!! I mean I have been using the wahls bump free close shaver for 10 years now. and this pro foil make your face feel like you actually shaved with a sharp razor without the bumps. now idk about the t blade, ( for me it's a joke)imma stick with my Andis t outliner for now. but the foil attachment on it felt great

Mohammed Jaffer t outliners are way more sharp and powerful. The super liners are more comfortable and smoother no were near as sharp. The super liners are safe on the neck and sensitive places very smooth but the t outliners are not great for those places. If you don't have sensitive skin it won't matter. T outliners are more industrial strength like barber tool. Super liners Are more for home use diy kind of thing.

I am like you bro. I am so OCD with my clippers. But my Wahl Detailers broke exactly how yours did. So I have ordered the Andis Superliners instead. I would rather have clippers last a life time rather than for a few months. Really shocked that they broke even though I treated them perfectly. Anyways, Great video as usual man.

That's the truth the detailer cuts crisp but the inside plastics break I know from experience. The superliner cuts like butter and seem more durable and are less in price

You can't get different size blades for super liners, just the shaver attachment

BRDGNG thanks for the video. I have a question though. I just bought the Wahl T wide trimmers, and they dont feel as sharp as you say they are. what can I do besides adjusting them to make them cut a nice crisp line? Thansk hope to hear from you.

+J. g besides an adjustment, make sure you spray them with clipper cleaner so the blades will move as fast as possible

Aye bro! Did you ever get your wahl detailers replaced under warranty? I had similar issues with my detailers and I didn't have to pay for anything. They won't normally tell you that they can send you printable shipping label. You have to request it. Wahl always take care of me. As long as clippers are under warranty you should be good.

Oster FastFeed is great to have in your arsenal

May have to try those Superliners. My detailers broke the same way, but I already bought some new Detailers. I need to see how these get zero-gap'd

Buy a blade setter it makes it a lot easier

Wahl fixed my clippers and sent them back for free. I think I paid to send them but it wasn't much.

I've had those Andis for at least 5 years now
