Great review! I've been cutting my own hair for a little over a year and was using an old corded Wahl clipper and it finally died. I just purchased the Senior after a ton of research and it's so reassuring that you, as a pro, love it. Can't wait to get it!

In fact, Wahl Pro 5 Star clippers now have a 5V charger (with gray end cord) instead of the "old" 4V charger (all black cord). The charger is the same for all newly purchased clippers (Magic Clip, Legend, Senior).

Durable, repairable, timeless because it seems to come straight from the 1930s, from a legendary brand that cut the hair of Elvis and all the GIs, the Senior is the Rolls-Royce of clippers. No need to look elsewhere. I love mine !

It does a bit but not much. Im guessing it doesn’t get as hot as the full metal one
