I think they (other Brands) internationally make their fence non-permanent-ish for perceived safety. I think they imagine in a worse case scenario, final destination style event where a material might get stuck between the blade and the fence, the fence will the first to give way to whatever freak forces are in a freak accident. That's my theory at least.

I have a review on the GTS254 also. You can check it out. But personally, I would go for this unit over the GTS254.

sir, okay ba mga makina ng lotus if you use it to start a furniture business. I'm more on sa designer side and gusto ko sana umpisahan ang collection ko sa lotus para magamit ng tao ko to create my designs.

Ask lang po Sana masagot possible ba na sa left side ilagay ang fence Jan sa rock & pinion??? Puro sa right side po kasi nakikita ko Jan sa ts na rock & pinion thank you sa Pag sagot sir.. nadanay kasi ako sa diy ko na ts nasa left side ung fence

I would stay away from the Bosch GTS 254. In my opinion there's not enough value in the unit given it's price. But if you can get one for under P10k/$200, then pwede na siguro.

Sir sana mabasa mo to. Ung skil table saw hina po ng makina nyan. Dami sumasakit ulo nyan. Wala mabibili na armature dto sa pinas kung saan yung ang nasisira. Meeon na ako nyan. Sakit sa ulo.

Sir Nicko, u mean po ba ung mismong PRO LTST254RPF mahina ang power nito, i clear ko lang po kasi pabili na ako please. ah ok SKIL table saw pala tinutukoy nyo na sirain o mahina kala ko si Lotus. Salamat sa pag klaro sir.
