Departing from the same anger, WAFAQ is an anonymous band from the city of Padang whose genre is HC / punk with a little touch of Blackened / Death, D-Beat, Raw, and sludge, WAFAQ consists of 4 personnel with disguised identities namely Ghoul (vocals), Obayda (drums), Syaitonirojeem (Vocal & Guitar), and Gulzar (Bass).
May 15, to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, WAFAQ has just released an EP titled "Liberation Corpse" in which WAFAQ tells the story of the resistance of the people of Gaza against the Zionists and also tells the story of the internal conflicts of the community itself that claimed thousands of victims from fellow Palestinians themselves.
This EP is dedicated to groups/individuals who are victims of prolonged conflict, deprivation of living space and oppression, and with the spirit of Intifada, WAFAQ invites us to continue to raise our voices and strengthen our ranks to be equally sensitive to what is happening now.

After the horrific events of an-Nakba in 1948, many popular resistance movements emerged with the sole purpose of reclaiming what was rightfully theirs, one of which was the Intifada.
In the spirit of the fiery intifada, we dedicate our first EP to all our friends who have been devastated but remain steadfast in their resistance to Zionism, colonialism, evictions, deprivation of living space and oppression.
And not to forget our full support for the people of Palestine, Rohingya, Myanmar, Lebanon, Congo , Saudi Arabia , Papua, Pancoran, Dago Elos, Air Bangis, Wadas, Pakel and areas that are still in conflict until now.
Radicals are tainted by a regime that does not want to be independent of its control, if you are a sycophant of power's ass and always its dog, then not for WAFAQ!!!
