Wacom Tablet Not Working on Mac. 2019 June. Fixed!

On June 2019 my Wacom Intuos Pro suddenly stopped working. Just in the middle of the working process. I have tried everything, to reinstall the driver, to disconnect/connect wacom back to my MacBookPro. To use it via Bluetooth. I even tried to make a hardware reset. No result. After some research I found the solution how to fix it. You need to go through some security settings on macOS Mojave. Check this video.

    SWEET BABY JESUS!!! My tablet had stopped recognizing my pen (and had become nothing more than a glorified second monitor) back in June 2019. I had tried all of the fixes that you mentioned with the same results. I JUST FOUND YOUR VIDEO TODAY and low and behold... HOUSTON, WE HAVE LIFT OFF!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this. I can't believe I almost bought ANOTHER tablet to fix the problem when it was literally just ticking two boxes and a restart! You have saved me $$$ and my sanity. Bless you sir.     It worked for me, thanks! Hey everybody, just make sure if the download fail...be sure to click on the dropdown menu of the failed download and click "resume" each time after it fails until the download is complete.

    It worked , I have Wacom Intuos 3, Mac Mojave . I installed the driver from Wacom.com. I could see the power ON, blue light ON, but when I use my pen , no connection with my photoshop, I followed your instruction. Awesome !! problem solved. THANK YOU SO MUCH !

    Hi Roman, I have One by Wacom (bought new a week ago). And it worked fine for a week and than as soon as i connect it to my mac book pro light on my wacom stoped working and i couldn't use my wacom anymore? Did you by any chance had the same issue? Before this new One Wacom I had old one that stoped working completely all together and i had same symptoms. The old one worked for a little bit as well and than again stoped working completely.

    I cannot see this wacom apps in this settings. Even the message. I am lost :( (I reinstalled, reconnected, etc., still cannot see nothing common as you showed here :( (Mojave)

    Same here, I got it to work for about a day after driver update, after re start again stopped working. SOO frustrating!!!!

    Sorry to hear that. Try to hard reset your Wacom? Find a tutorial of doing that. Maybe that might help.     If ever you have CleanMyMac install, go to its preference and optimisation...enable everything related to Wacom. It worked for me.

    I have a Cintiq 32 Pro. I've not drawn on it for a few months. I went to use it today and my pen was not working. I restarted my Mac. Still didn't work. But the buttons on the screen work at the top. Even when I go to the Wacom Desktop Center, my Cintiq does not show up as a display. Yet, when I go to my Mac - System preferences - display it says Cintiq Pro 32 PT. So, I am very confused. I am using MacOS 10.13.6. Which is macOS High Sierra. It is very odd. I never had the problem before. I wrote to Wacom about the problem. I have not upgraded my OS yet for the fact that a few of the programs I have are not compatible.

    My Mac won’t recognize my one by Wacom device. I can use it but I can’t mess with pen settings. I’m using an adapter because the man is usb type c only. Does anyone know how to get this to work?

    Thanks, my Wacom Cintiq 13 HD stopped pen stopped working, the pen pressure was being detected just fine but couldn't move the cursor. After many hours of installing and uninstalling stuff, thanks to you it's finally working, thanks for nothing Wacom for not telling us about accessibility access when installing the drivers...

    Reupdated everything, the accessibility is checked to allow my tablet, just restarted the computer, everything is plugged in, But my tablet still says “no signal, going to sleep” Does anyone know what I should do?

    Does anyone know how to make my Tablet work on MacOS Big Sur? I don't have a driver which I think is the problem. I can't find a 11.1 driver though. All are outdated. Anyone have a solution?

    Had this problem after updating my wacom driver and mojave (to version 10.14.6) but couldn't make everything work right even with these instructions. In the end I went back to privacy settings and checked the wacom driver boxes off from accessibility settings, closed it and then clicked them back on again. This seemed to do the trick and everything is working as it should.

    yeh,,,It works but without compatibility of wacom desktop center. so i can use it anyway but can´t choose options i set in desktop center app. only a default setting is allowed

    Catalina destroyed my wacom bamboo tablet, I've have tried like everything and nothing works anymore.. what you did doesnt even work, new drivers dont work, removing everything and installing everything all over doesnt work. Man i feel locked up now.

    go to wacom's website. there's a driver update. make sure to allow new permissions in system preferences after installing and you should be good to go

    @@Susieeeeeee Nope, it seems that I had a legacy tablet which doesnt work with catalina anymore and didnt had the right drivers and software, so I had to buy a new tablet :( It worked fine in Mojave, but atleast there was a reason to get a new one.. haha

    @@Orlilover4 my intuos pro broke, because its made so cheaply, my old bamboo on backup is basically bricked with catalina... ive got deadlines and cant justify $250-$500 right now.

    Catalina feels like windows vista: asking to allow every single thing. I stoped Illustrator from recording my screen that way so in a way, it's kinda useful, but it's annoying when you have to google how to fix your 4 year old Wacom tablet after a simple OS update. Thanks for the help.

    I have the same issue on my Mac, this does not work all the time :(. On the Windows Laptop I never had an issue with the tablet.Intuos Cintique Pro 13

    Mine works after restarting multiple times. Here are my steps: 1. system preference > security and privacy > under privacy > under accessibility > UNCHECK access to wacom desktop center and wacom tablet driver 2. Then under input monitoring > UNCHECK access to wacom desktop center and wacom tablet driver 3. Restart your computer 4. system preference > security and privacy > under privacy > under accessibility > ALLOW access to wacom desktop center and wacom tablet driver 5. Then under input monitoring > ALLOW access to wacom desktop center and wacom tablet driver Hope it works with other people too
