We have a terrific band of brothers that meet up every year. This year it'll be 4 Finns, possibly some Swedes, an American, Australian, Slovenian and a handful of Germans. At camping site A. Welcome in for a beer

Have been every year since 2010, and I can't go this year because of a wedding. My friend just mentioned Wacken after trying not to think about it and I burst into tears. I don't give a fuck, this festival means everything to me. The fact that the line-up is the best I've seen in a long time makes it more difficult. Whoever is going, have a fucking kickass time. +Nikki Rowell tickets are sold Monday (starting midnight) after the festival... it starts midnight and ends on Monday afternoon usually...

+Nikki Rowell You can still get tickets bundled with travel package (bus from England) through Argon Events! They're one of the few legit ticket vendors other than the official Metaltix... I always miss the general ticket release, but always get to the festival because of Argon! You can pay in installments too!

+Nikki Rowell They do have waiting lists for a chance to get tickets. You don't pay for them straight away, you get given an amount of time to pay for the ticket and if you don't, they go back online and then people on the waiting list will get a chance to get a ticket. 180 EUR...?! shit son, thats near 100% more than I paid a decade ago! I get that the more visitors, the more expenses - but some of that newer entertainment stuff is, imo, unnecessary and just drives the price up for regular bums to not be able to come to this venue - which is a shame, cuz it /is/ awesome (to have that amount of bands in one place).

Wie sieht es aus mit den Sicherheitsvorkehrungen? Bewaffnete Security? Metalldetektoren? Ist halt ein perfekter Ort für Bombenanschlag, oder ähnliches... Sage das aus ANGST und ERFAHRUNG.
