Stormboyz and Kommandos are always a welcome addition and Ork Waaagh! 30 Boyz with a rocket strapped on their back, and 30 Boyz infiltrating gives a nice amount of pressure early in the game to let the rest of your Orks get up the board

A GOOD STARTING LIST FOR Green Tide should be... Da KORE 3 x units of 20 boyz with Warboss and pain boy ( 305 each - 915 all up TELLAPORT TROOPAZ 3 x units of 20 Boyz with weirdboy ( 225 each - 675 all up) At 1590 that leaves a few options with 410 points left... FOR EXAMPLE Option 1: GAZ and Da Gazz Guard GAZ- 235 5 x Mega nobz 150 385 - with 25 points to spare on a enhancement some other character... Option 2: Da ARM-ARD FIST 1 X trukk (65) with 5 x Mega Nobz (150) (215 all up) + Mega Armoured Character Eg: Warboss (+80) makes dem hit harder in a scrap ( +1 to hit)... Mek makes dem shoot betta ( re-roll 1 to hit) Die harder ( 4+ Save- Regens 1 mega Nob per round) Either character should have Racaus Warcaller Enhancement (+ 20) to re-roll Armor saves on 1.... Giving 40 to 60 points left for grotz OR grotz + and a enhancement on a character OPTION 3: MORE MEAT Da SKAR BOYZ 20 x Beast Snaggaz ( 210) + Beast Boss (80) Giving 120 left for 1 x unit of 10 Beast Snaggaz (105) And 15 point enhancement? OR 2 x units of outflanking Burna Boyz (120) 2 x units of lootaz (100) +20 point enhancement somewhere... 3 x units of Grotz....(120) Etc....

Storm Boyz for secondary 2x5 Warbikers for early presure 2x3 Zodgrod+11grots+ Trukk for scout and early tie up Ghaz+Meganobz for waaagh turn buff 3x Warbosses+20 Boyz blobs to follow ghazz.

Great list! I’m close to that but a little different. 1 BeastBoss Attached to 20 Beast Snaggas Riding in a huntarig 1painboss Attached to 20 Beastsnaggas Riding in another huntarig. 2 weirdboyz Both attached to 20 boyz So I can have 40 boyz using da-jump 4 other units of 20 boyz taking up the rear. 164 total boyz and 2 vehicles.

Mordian needs to get his Green Tide Orks up and running and then lambast Salty Simon into running pure infantry Guard. SEND IN THE NEXT WAVE!

would love tournament reviews and all that amazing stuff with an orks army, that sounds so fun

I am very much looking forward to following this project. It has shades of the Great Mordian Rifles restoration project and I loved that series.

WAAAGHT? A green hoard!

As an Ork player myself, go all in on the boyz. Green Tide wins by swamping the primary objectives with 2oc bodies and doing fixed with Cleanse and Deploy Teleport Homer (pistols are great for this). Get points early so that even if you get tabled they can not catch up to your score.

Have a speed freek ork army but might need to get the a TIDE going!

Great, can't wait for more content :) Orks were my first army in WHFB and then Imperium, in 40k I started with Guard (long time ago in 7th) and then started new with Guard last year and as a side project I started with da boyz ! And now they will bully my friends around in a crusade, can't wait for it

Fantasy Greenskins next Mordian!

I've played a handflu of 1000 point games with the Ork Index, and my 40 Ork Boyz always did pretty well for me. The Lootas have done quite well at times too, but the Nobz have been the stars. I'm really looking forward to adding some Killa Kanz and Deff Dreads. Until I do, I think I'll be trying out Green Tide, but the sustained hits on melee weapons for the standard War Horde shouldn't be underestimated.

If you want to truly go Quantity over Quality then play Dread Mob. It makes Gretchin into Battleline so you can have 6 units of the runts as well. Currently, 132 Gretchin (6 units of 20 grots, 2 Runt Herds) and 120 Boyz will cost you 1500 points. That gives you ample space to add some Meks and Big Meks to the list so you can benefit from the detachment rule and access to some spicy stratagems, or perhaps a Battlewagon or two to move them, or one or two Deff Dreads to open up some cans. I dont play horde ork, i love my walkers and Meks, but there is definitely a tipping point on bodies in that detachment that your opponent just wont be able to handle. Lastly, if you want to play Shooty Orks in 10th edition this is the best detachment to do it. It LITERALLY has the "Dakka Dakka Dakka!" Stratagem in it

I would say nuance for your list. I say keep your friends guessing and hit them with whatever wacky thing you can.

You should get the old metal 2nd edition ghazghkull thraka and put him on a big scenic base to make up size difference

go all in on boyz and run the max 120 with warbosses, painboys and a weirdboy, and with the rest of your points get a battlewagon or two

I have a list very like this set up for TTS, but I'm never painting that many minis for anything but Guard. If I do a second army, I'm going with something with a low model count like Grey Knights or Custodes.

Wth? No difference between shootas and melee boyz? What a stupid idea. I hate that they did that with chaos cultists as well. Makes the seven squads i planned, biught and kitbashed to be specific, absolutely pointless. Same with orks. I worked hard to build and obtain the squads I want. Dumb.

Well that's not really true choppa boyz are def the far better choice. I've played with both and you definitely want choppas.

O I c. There is still a difference between the weapons. I thought they changed shooter and Choppa model= pistol shot and melee weapon just like they did with cultists. My mistake. Glad there's still shootas in the game.
