岩倉市付近は市街地を流れており、約7.6kmにわたり約1,300本もの桜が堤両岸を飾ります。 桜のシーズン中には「岩倉桜まつり」が開催され、両岸の桜が織り成す桜のアーチは見事で、日本の「さくら名所100選」に選定されています。
※桜以外に、季節の花も沢山咲いていましたので、カメラに収めて来ました。春を感じて頂けたら嬉しいです。人で賑わうと撮影が大変なので朝早くに撮りました。

Gojo River
The river runs through the city near Iwakura City, and approximately 1,300 cherry blossom trees decorate both banks of the embankment over a length of approximately 7.6 km. The Iwakura Cherry Blossom Festival is held during the cherry blossom season, and the cherry blossom arch created by the cherry blossoms on both banks is so spectacular that it has been selected as one of Japan's ``100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots.''
*In addition to cherry blossoms, there were many other seasonal flowers in bloom, so I took pictures of them with my camera. I would be happy if you could feel the spring. It was difficult to take photos when it was crowded with people, so I took the photos early in the morning.

しお豆大福様 コメントありがとうございます。 目黒川と異なり水面の近くまで桜の枝が伸びているのと、水面近くを歩くことが可能な場所です。車でいったり、深夜バスで朝早くと言ったパターンで行っています。この写真は後者です。人気の場所なので映像に収めるには早朝が良いです。機会が有りましたら訪ねてみてください。運が良ければ鯉のぼりを水洗いしているのを見れるかも知れません。
