Don't be fooled by his playing and think he's a only a musician....he is more than that....in fact he is much better known as a guqin luthier than as a musician. Top of his products sell for millions in Chinese currency.
This is magnificent. What is this instrument called ? I want to know everything about it : Its history, where was it first played, who designed it ? I love it.

This is called Guqin, one of the most ancient instruments in China with 3000 years history. Nobody knows who designed it... There are around 3000 melodies that have been passed from generation to generation until today. This is one of them. It's called 渔樵问答 (translate to English literally means "the dialogue of a fisherman and a woodcutter.) This melody was created at least 500 years ago. I'm learning to play Guqin now. It's very peaceful music, love it.

The miking of this is awful, compared to the incomplete, 5-min one he did in a concert. 隔靴搔癢 like trying to scratch an itch outside one's boot.

He didnt do an incomplete. The video cuts short. You can see that it continues.

原來是隨興的教學錄影，怪不得錄影瑕疵那麼多（攝影機沒有固定、大力關門聲、機械反覆重擊聲、拍攝者手指亂入、最後則是類似手機收到訊息聲），不過大師的示範太精彩了，大大地蓋過這些擾人的瑕疵，還是謝謝你！（所以我既沒有按「讚」也沒有按「不好」）
