作品創作於2011年4月。音樂輕鬆明快，充滿動感，採用了狂想曲的結構形式，自由灑脫。利用非傳統和聲及流行音樂的節奏型，將揚琴這一傳統古老的民族樂器注入了新的表現活力。在令人眼花繚亂的技巧和音響中，使之展現出一個絢爛浪漫並富有動態的音樂空間。

Rhapsody for yangqin and Chinese orchestra was composed in April 2011. The music is relaxed and lively, adopting the free and easy structure of a Rhapsody. The use of non-traditional harmony with the rhythmic pattern of pop music brings a fresh performance style to this traditional instrument. The dazzling technique and sounds combine to create a dramatic and exciting work for yangqin.
