Finally a version of this story that's more appealing. FL is not too overbearing and ML is not too stupid. Good works

This is a slightly different and rather fast paced version of the “Modern day doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story. Even if some of the tropes are the usual ones, the storyline is different in that this strong and sensible FL tells ML what’s going on practically from the start and collaborates with him. Really good actors and decent chemistry between the leads. Definitely well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! An ancient Princess sees her father being killed by the man, a Regent she just married. Wanting to avenge him, she tries to kill the Prince, but fails. FL is a modern day woman who one day finds herself transmigrated into ancient times at a time before the killing. She wakes up the morning after the wedding and when she receives the memories of the body’s original owner - the Princess - she realizes that this woman was asked by her family to marry the Regent in order to find the Black Iron Order - something that relates to the security of the imperial city. In other words, she was a spy. When she is presented with the soup to make her unable to conceive, she welcomes it since she doesn’t want to have children with a husband like that - only to have him get suspicious that she has ulterior motives to marry him. He ends up not having her drink the soup. Even if they get off on the wrong foot, she offers him to cure the poison in his body. In order for her to do so, they make a deal of being married for a year - the treatment time and a chance for her to find a solution to her problem - and then get a divorce. She also tells him why she was sent to him, setting in motion a string of events that has these two entangled. Well, this has a very happy ending.

I especially loved the second ML - very goodlooking and a god actor. Very funny and on spot! ❤ But the FL is also a sweetheart and sassy without being arrogant. I recommend the movie! 👍🏻❤👍🏻

She has moments of being vain and smug but it's never annoying. That's not an easy feat. I congratulate both the actress and the director.

Really good one. Good looking ML and FL. Great acting, costumes and set. Great ending too. Recommend.

ML needs to improve his facial expressions. He seems so cold to me. FL was fabulous both on her looks and work. The actor who played bodyguard was good 👍. The quarrels of subordinates were cute. FL is smart and witty. As for the story the ancient rivalry is there but the war scenes weren't included. Harem competition isn't there . Queen mother isn't evil. Not overbearing or torturing. Audience can watch this drama at ease.

This was a decent little version. The ML has a very cold face but he is handsome when he smiles.

This was a well crafted story. From beginning to end the FL was agent of her own destiny, the lady with the plan, and all the charm to win over the taciturn prince, who was no fool. She conquered his heart with word and deed, not useless pleas or tears.

The best thing about this 🎭 is the FL’s love of money😂🤣😂. Wish the writers had kept the storyline with her continually taking money and concubines for her husband😂🤣😂 Also, a better ending would’ve been for her and beautiful maid to leave the prince with trunks loaded with gold; however, they only make a few C-🎭🎭🎭 with that ending😢😢

Does anyone know how she got pregnant? Since the start of the story shows her father killed, her trying to kill ML as revenge and ML undressing her in the bridal chamber after she faints, it has me confused because when FL wakes up (after transmigrating) her father isn’t dead, so the first part hasn’t happened (and never does). Only time we see them in bed together, they are not drugged or drunk, so she must have known if they had sex that night. Is something edited out? 🤔🤔

Maybe since the FL was reborn...she didn't hve any attachments to her family and was not so sad for their death....so it was easy for her to go to scambag killer for his looks and wealth...first given chance 🤷
