I’ve been having the X20 for about 3 months now, & it’s a beast for outdoor use. I just recently ordered the Boom2 & it’s coming in tomorrow. I prefer to use the X20 outside when I’m having guests over. I ordered the Boom2 for when I want to just have a few beers outside alone, or if I’m barbecuing outside alone.

Jay just git my x20 man from the sound to the build quality to the connections on back especially the USB type c I feel wking just hit a grandslam!!!!!! Didn't get to really test it it showed up just before 8 and I was just gettin home from church with my son so the other 2 kiddos were already almost asleep but threw the mavericks all you ever do is bring me down on let her go to 50 percent volume on melody setting in app and man it sounds fn mean and beautiful at the same time. This speaker should put everyone on notice imo to up their game even bb3 hey give us all these plug-ins om back amd fast charging from type c cable and damnit throw in a strap too especially if you're gonna charge 400 or more I can't fully say but I can't wait to tweak that eq tomorrow and fine tune it for different genres I throw at it but to my ears already... this thing is special man amd makin me not regret one but returning the bb3 wifi to costco even at 399.99 that fn wifi and jbl one app was as buggy and frustrating experience as I've had with a speaker after 2 days I said f this but it did sound killer but this for 250 right now I thibk us worth every single hard earned cent I spent lol!!!! I've heard a lot of negatives on the JBL WiFi and the app required, so I've stayed away from the BB3 and Charge 5 WiFi versions. The X20 is a pretty impressive speaker, no doubt.

The Boom 2 is probably the best "Sound for the Size" speaker out there. I recently got the W-King X20 which obviously is way better, but I still have the Boom 2 on my watchlist in case there is ever a Black Friday like sale on it. The Boom 2 would satisfy plenty of my bluetooth speaker use cases and is WAY more portable. Like I could run/dance while holding the Boom 2 and it could easily fit in a backpack along with other things like a laptop, mouse, cables, gym clothes, etc. It's cool that you have both of these speakers. I bet you still get some good use from the Boom 2 because of it's portability.

@@bigtylee the W-King sounds great! It’s a better speaker audio wise than the boom 2 plus for sure. But the decision between the two depends on your uses. The w-king is only going to outshine the boom 2 plus in scenarios like big events with lots of people where you’ll need the extra decibels. I’m on an nba dance team so I use my Bluetooth speaker a lot for at home practice or if I go a rent a studio out. Both scenarios the boom 2 plus would be just fine. But with the w-king, I mean it’s better than the speaker my coaches use for our rehearsals and for when we dance in the concourse during halftime or outside the stadium for pregame hype. The w-king can get louder and (more importantly) not lose clarity when doing so. It really is good enough for professional uses. With all that said, the w-king is an hefty boy. It’s bigger and much heavier. It’s not something you can pick up and not think about. Like I don’t pick up the w-king unless I know exactly where I’m going to place it next and have a good reason to. The strap is a must and it makes it much easier to carry safely. For the size, the W-king it’s still remarkable. I mean this thing competes with the JBL Partybox 310. The Boom 2 is smaller and lighter and would perfectly satisfy 90% of my needs. But I decided to get the W-King so I would never feel the need to get something bigger. Plus you can use it for karaoke if you wanted to lol!

Do you think it would be okay to use the usb-c fast charging as an a/c wall plug while listening to it? Or do you think that it would damage it? I'm on the fence about getting the x20 or the JBL Extreme 3.

wking looks better, apart from the size, but respect for the designers who realized that not everyone likes those obnoxious and large speaker handles, so you can undo it... soundcore has some kind of complex about these handles.

@@leonciodedios3978I think the fact that it is so loud is why it eats battery faster than most. If you put it at 75% volume it will last noticeably longer and 75% on the H10 is about max volume on similar speakers.

I like the Boom 2 app support with EQ settings. The D10 is a good option under $100. Right now it's $86 after coupon on amazon.com

I just pulled one of my D10's out and compared it to the Boom 2 indoors and up to about 55%. I actually liked the sound of the D10 better. But I use decent Hiby DAP and "Sound Beautifier" app. The Boom 2 has fuller bass, but the D10 just sounded better to me. Much more clarity and definition. Bass is decent too.

Which one of them the battery last more ? If you have the motion boom plus; how many hours of playing time you are getting with the bass up turned off and on the max volume ?

@@JB-yg7clThe BB2 puts out 120 watts in battery mode. The W-KING X20 is rated at 200 watts rms, 300 watts peak. More times than not, the peak power is usually double that of the rms wattage. I could be wrong, but I’m thinking it’s closer to 150 watts or so.
