I am always fascinated with the Tang dynasty asththics! Their clothing is so colourful and vibrant with beautiful prints and the fabric is so light and flowing. The silhouette of the fashion is more rounded and less structured compared to the Ming Dynasty dresses (also beautiful Too), but Tang dynasty really fascinates me in their arts. And it looks especially elegant!

Jack's Mom looks gorgeous in the Chinese costume but it's not quite Hanfu because of the round standing Mandarin collar. Hanfu has wrapped around upper robe or jacket in the form of a Y shape. Also, in the Tang or Han era, they didn't use embroidered buttons... The Geishas in Japan till today retain most of the makeup features like the thick flower lipstick look of the era seen in the video, as with most other aspects of traditional Japanese culture today (as they all probably came from the mainland).
