Historical background : In the war of Finland and the USSR in 1939, the Union had a good foundation, a strong army, powerful guns, etc . But still, why did the USSR suffer such heavy losses in this war? It's simple, everything happened for 2 reasons. 1) Finland was already ready for the attack of the USSR, and the "Monergame line" greatly contributed to it. 2) Ineffective Soviet command. The fact is that the Soviet offensive was led by young and inexperienced generals. When Stalin realized that the command was not effective, more experienced generals were sent to the front. Some time after the replacement of the leadership of the USSR troops, the war was ended by the victory of the USSR.

I really like how this came out. But there’s a lot of historical issues too. The PPSH-41 was not yet produced in 1939, as it would be produced in 1941. And a few more issues too, but I ain’t gonna write them down. Discover them yourself.

@@tangorangejuiceenjoyer I was referring to the soviets. I am aware of the Finnish KP and fascinated how it was designed for a machine pistol in time that. Also, the Russians completely copied the look. Just not the design. This video represents the winter war 1939, which is still 3 years before the PPSH was even made.

Interesting fact: during the defense of the Mannerheim Line by the Finns, a huge number of Soviets died due to the horrible command by Soviet leaders. In fact, the Finn’s killed so many that Finnish machine gunners had to be taken off the front lines, because they began to lose their minds due to the stress of killing so many Soviets in such a short time. Some would kill over a hundred a day…

The white death was a dangerous military sniper in Finland🇫🇮 in Scandinavia🇫🇮🇸🇪🇳🇴🇩🇰 to have killed approximately 500 Soviet soldiers during the battle of Talvisota in World War II in 1939-1940. However a rifle bullet from a Soviet wounded him by hitting his dentures, sadly he died in 2002, close to the end of the Cold War.

They ended up losing since the Germans were mostly supplying the Finnish army.
