I was too young to see the Newcastle 84 show but I have an excellent quality cassette recording from the show that night, and it sounded like an awesome show. My first W.A.S.P. show was not until Donnington 87’ three years later, and I’ve never missed a tour since then. Incredible band, lead by Blackie who I finally met back stage at the secret Marquee gig they did two nights prior to their Donnington 92’ appearance that started off the Crimson Idol tour. Sleeping in the fire is still my joint favourite W.A.S.P. song along with Hellion. Take care Sophie.

So Randy showing up for a show or two isn’t impossible and could happen stranger shit has happened, and to be fair if blackie threw enough money at Chris he could possibly pretend it’s all kosher and act as if nothing happened wouldn’t be the first time lol.
