How did rock like this ever die out ? Fuckin sadd

It will never die out. It's being listened to in countries around the world where no one ever thought this would reach. I was in Serbia couple of week ago and stepped into a Hard Rock Café with this song blasting.
Pure magic: the music, theatrics, and emotion (from the band and crowd). Some might look down on the 80s, but it was an era of pure expression and aggression.

+Nonchiie those were unbelievable years to be growing up in Los Angeles....the entire city rocked hard....loved it! WASP were always a great live band...until the theatrics sprayed fake blood everywhere....and suddenly all the chicks would leave. Great times....

He's still got it. I hear he kinda hogs all the attention, but even without Holmes, I for one would take a chance to see WASP live in a heartbeat.

Most underated band ever Wasp, you kick ass!!! Blackie Lawless voice is Metal!!
Caught the Last Command tour, it was off the hook crazy!!! The hair was long and the miniskirts short ( and leather) what a great time to be alive!!!

I lived in Germany during most of the 1980s. My dad, brother, friends and I went to a lot of metal and rock concerts there. I recall seeing WASP open for Accept in 85 or 86. Hanging around in record stores and guitar shops. It was a great decade for metal! My wife wonders why I like metal. Well, it's what I grew up with.

@jonsimmons4150
Жыл бұрын
@@warren6710 unfortunatly no. We Didn't think of that. WASP did a photo shoot in the foyer, couldnt get a good look thru the door it was rammed the entrance. The sound was perfect, and pumping..tight playing and great stage show..mad max metal.. If only wasp had continued with that stage show- next album i went to see live- and i was disappointed, johnny rod, and this circus show garb, and too much showing off on playing.. The lineup change ruined it imho.
@warren6710

@@jonsimmons4150 I think Blackie is WASP and WASP is Blackie there s no other way to describe this. I agree you about messing up the first line up the energy and stage presence was unbelievable but I think Blackie did the thing he wanted to do about the band. He is a person who build, join, leave and mess bands back in the day like London and Sister. Basically he is his own boss he continued more logically about the world's status at that time
Wow the crowd is hot as hell, crazy live.
Can't beat 80's MeTaL!!
I can’t believe Chris ever played the solo that good live.
Such a masterpiece still be rocking this in 30 years
Man, a 25yr old Chris Holmes. How time flies. Good to hear that he has supposedly been sober for quite a while now. It still took its toll. You can hear it when he talks, it sounds like he has wet brain. He still sounds kind of drunk when he talks today even though he is sober. Still, the fact that he is alive, healthy and still playing is nothing short of a miracle. Good luck in the future chris. He said he quit drinking in 1996. I don't know if that true or not, but that's what he says.

You said it man he’s very lucky to be alive is right, same as myself :-)
Seen this concert at the age of 15 with quiet riot with my cousin. We looked at each other and said wtf omg. This is going to be a great show
Audio engineer: "How much crowd you want I the mix" WASP "Yes"
W.A.S.P iz cool grew up to thier muzic.I remember bacc in the day everyone thought Chris Holmes looked like Ozzy Osbourne
I listened to American bands like the Twisted Sister, Mötley Crüe, Dio etc. when I was a kid in the 80's (still very much do so), with a ton of European bands as well. But I just realized, when walking down that memory lane, that I couldn't remember seeing W.A.S.P. performing live ever. So, I decided to check out one of my favourite songs from them - which is this. In the video it's cool and grandiloquent to see Blackie waving his fist high up in the air while singing and playing the bass, while at the same time that jackhammer of a bass riff keeps rolling on and drills it's way into your ears and to your consciousness. Well, to see that same exact thing live didn't work so well.

I was very young when my big brother listened those bands too so didn't really listen to childrens music at all. Nice 😉
The song that caused me so much trouble and gave me so much hope. "Everyone you meet, you're gonna show"
The best tune to pick yourself up when life's not going the way you want it too !!!!
The boys are on fire.
Holmes has so much drive and power takes his own knees out :)
I've enjoyed W.A.S.P. since their beginnings in LA, but still to this day, I CAN'T get used to those damn ugly but cheek pants!
Pure metal Rock. Love it 💯

Makes me wanna blackout this song and drink too it again and party hard. Best song!
When I first seen wasp was when they came out and the stage and everything looked identical to the album. With the two huge skulls, one on each side with the name in flames and with a almost naked woman below it. Never will forget that concert.
Randy never got the memo that it was, "Wear Your Buttless Chaps Day" at the office.

Wow, this is incredible.
Didn’t anyone notice the first chorus? He walked away from the mic….yet you can still hear his voice. When he is singing it sounds extremely close to the studio audio, then halfway through the song his vocals sound different where it does sound live.

Saw these guys mid hudson civic center with the release of their second album. It snowed like hell and nobody showed. I got up front and center. Great show even though blackie played guitar instead of bass. Im a bassist so....I was a little disappointed.

I've seen these a few times - and wasn't ever disappointed. Now I'm old and need glasses could some kind stranger tell me if my eyes are deceiving me or has Blackie got ass-less chaps on?
This is as live as Slayer's Live Undead LP
\m/ HELLZYA!! \m/
Anaybody else who feels that the audio in this video not is the actually live recording. 1. The singing sound not live at all, too perfect and not even small differences compared to the album. 2. Who's singing at 1.29-1.39? There is Blackies voice, even when he's off the mice. 3. The sound of the crowd is to high and powerful (not realistic).
