I replaced my OEM tail lights with these ones bought from Aliexpress. Came in three packages, the last one poorly packed, just in foil, and came broken. The black cover had both pins and also the base broken. I had to reuse the original ones.
It has gaps, not large but visible. It is acceptable considering the price, but I hoped that would stand better than the other buyers said. The led are bright and visible from far. Also, briefly, on the cluster, it has an error "Check rear right side light," but it dissappear after 3-4 seconds.
The set is Plug and play, no adaptation, wiring or cutting necessary (at least in Europe). It seems that is canbus compatible, instead of the briefly error message on the cluster.
I hope that will last for a long period of time. Also, as a downside, the signal/turn seems to be on a bulb, not led as marketed. I'll investigate this later.
Steps for removal/mounting of the lamps:
1. remove the black cover from outer lights using a plastic tool.
2. unscrew the 2 screws using torx 25
3. behind the tail light, it is a plastic screw. use a 10mm wrench rotate right like 90° to release the back holder of the tail light.
4. pull back the outer lamp, pull back the red retainer from the connector, press the middle, and pull back to unplug the connector. Now you can take out the lamp.
5. on the trunk, pull the plastic covers and with a 8mm socket unscrew the 2nuts. Pull back the red retainer from the connector, press the middle, and pull back to unplug the connector. Using the plastic tool remove the black cover from the side of the lamp. Now you can take out the lamp.
Assembly in reverse order and enjoy.
