The standard T5 headlights are bloody dangerous the first time I took ours out at night I thought VW had reverted to 6v electrics as per the pre 1967 Vehicles !

Yeah you would think for such a modern van and large company they would have had better headlights!

Just changed my daytime running lights to leds, amazing difference, and I was about to change my headlights after seeing this video, till I read Kevins post about it could fail the MOT. How is upgrading a pretty shit lighting system a MOT failure? I've no doubt Kevin is right, but I'm going to change them anyway and take my chances. I suppose I could always change them back before the MOT. By the frigging way,😄I love the way you present the video, no bull, just nice and easy to understand....and those lamps ARE a pig to change, when you're a hamfisted git like me🤣

🤣😂 mine never got pulled on it’s mot and you can’t really see the bulbs unless you look really hard.

These are the upgraded LED headlights I used in another video which are miles better - Roadsun LED H4 LIGHT BULBS amzn.to/3lF9p1y

Hi, is there a video with them at night lighting the road ahead? I was about to press go a new set of headlights before stumbling across this which may save me a fortune.. ;)

I didn’t do a night video but definitely better than standard bulbs, plus a lot cheaper than new headlights.

Can’t see why not 🤔 just check the bulb sizes are the same as what yours has fitted.

Just be aware this is retrofitting when you replace a standard bulb with an LED version. There’s no legislation to cover retrofitting external facing light sources and therefore LED exterior bulbs are not road legal + your van will fail the MOT!

If the beam pattern passes and the tester didn’t notice then they will pass but are technically not
