Thomas Blue is best. Especially with the white roof. I think dark alloys suit white or really bright color cars. Unless you drive a batmobile, then you need everything in black.

I like the idea of the coloured dash. A lot of dash/interiors can be really boring, so it's nice to see them make things look different.

The gray one looks best for me. Red stitched white, gray fabric seats are nice too.

Yes, choice is important for the consumer. Everything from high quality fabrics for the entire seat, a mix of fabric and leathers and all leather choices. Also the color pickup in the seat to coordinate with the outside color is good too. I like the muted colors for the dash board paint vs the bright colors matching the outside paint. I don't like the peachy color outside. If I were to choose a fabric for the seating areas, I most like would choose a dark color for the purpose of cleaner appearance.

Great little crossover! Great quality ,affordable,new,fun,great design and colors.I think VW made a wise choice here Thomas.They are on a winner.These things will sell like hot cakes! Keep up the good reviews Thomas!

Would have liked to see more of the front of the cars! Call me old fashioned but I think the grey one without colour contrast looked the best, either way, great job Autogefuhl team and thank you for showing us more colours!

I love the interior contrasts but I guess I would end up with a rather conservative trim at the end. 1.5 TSI DSG would be my choice but I am affraid it will be (too) expensive with all the extras.

I choose number 3, white and black with the conservative interior design. I believe that the choice VW offers now is nice but in my view it depends a lot how much more you have to pay for these options to become popular.

I think the yellow one is nice, and the blue. I like to be able to personalize a car, but I can see how it might be overwhelming for some customers. There should maybe be some pre-configured versions with the possibility to change the different parts.

VW needs fresh and notably cars! The T-Roc is the best answer to that👍 I really love the new design language of VW (e.g. new Arteon) and the interior matches perfectly to the exterior 😍😍 It was a good decision of VW to go for the screen with the "classic" two buttons on each side. My favourite choice for the exterior and interior is the R-Line package because it gives the car a more dynamic look 👍 I would choose a gray exterior colour :)

Yellow/Dark roof & wheels combo looks the best, not a fan of white paint but it does have the best mix of color and materials with the interior. White paint on the roof with the others seems out of place ( sorry about your fave blue ).

Nachdem ich nächste Woche selbst dort bin, werde ich mich auf die Suche machen. lol Interessant ist dieses Ausstellungsstück ja deswegen, weil es auch das R line Interieur Paket zeigt, welches übrigens mit dem des neuen Polos fast identisch sein dürfte, wenn ich mich nicht irre. ;-)

I think that themes and the colors belong to that theme is ok. But I want more choices of dekors on the intirior. For example more wood, or real metal!

Interesting that with all the personalisation I still cannot choose to black out the chrome as I am able to do with Jaguar. My favourite is the white car with the grey contrasting roof and inserts, and the grey cloth seats - I like classic understated design.

I prefer the white with the black roof and white and black interieur. Or the total thomas blue with blue roof en blue stripe interieur.

The seats in the sport is 'must have' but then you cannot get the fancy interior trim from the style version 🤔 Often think dark rims suits light cars and vice versa. Waiting for a test drive report from you Autogefühl. Lets go 😀

driving review next month!

I like the yellow exterior and interior combo, but do prefer bright yellow instead goldish-yellow, but do you guys think the interior yellow color will be too bright after owning the car for long time?

Another great report from Autogefühl. I need to see a driving report and try it for size before deciding if this is to be our next car. Is the DSG 'box suitable for stop/start city driving in slow moving traffic? Great colour range but I'd probably go for the more sober combination of white with grey roof. Or Thomas Blue. Waiting now the hear the prices before going mad with the options list. I'd expect it to be around £3000 less than the equivalent Q2.

Vw T rock should have darg and drop personalization for colours and options on Web. Best personalization manufacturer should give in middleeast and Asia and all over the world

I like to solid blue design.

The dolphin grey T-Roc looks sharp. The white and grey cloth seats are surprisingly attractive. So the strategy for US of A is : T-Roc=Entry level SUV Tiguan (All Space) S= Entry mid-level SUV Tiguan (All Space) SE= Mid-mid-level SUV Tiguan (All Space) SEL= High mid- level SUV Atlas= Mid Level SUV (Similar trims to Tiguan) Tourag= High level SUV (3 Trims) Fairly easy to understand. Strategy for Euro seems more complex or redundant? The T-Roc and Tiguan seem to compete and overlap in price range (Their sizes are differentiated by several cm). How are they going to sort this out? You guys do get a broader range in trim. We won't be receiving the R-Line at this moment and you won't be receiving the Atlas. US of A gets 4 models of SUV while Europe gets 3 models.

VAG are using hard plastics on VW's now not just Skoda/SEAT.....Wonder if that's really a good move

The external design is really cool. But it seems to me like the quality of the plastics in the interior is really bad. Not as nice as the Golf I have at the moment...

Dear thomas I may be wrong but the interior is same as vw polo 2018? BTW your review is as usual winning an Oscar:)

This ticks all of my boxes. Looking for a higher Golf but shorter Tiguan. I'm not sure about the obsession with shiny plastic interiors nowadays which makes things look cheap (Golf Mk7 interior looks like an Astra, and Volvo are doing the same now...). I much prefer the conservative interior providing it is matt but can see the appeal for younger female drivers who would opt for the brighter colourful interiors. I will wait for test drive and will be comparing with the new Volvo XC40 and maybe the Peugeot 3008. By the way, no one, and I mean NO ONE beats your reviews Thomas!

Indeed, but the price (within reason) isn't my primary consideration. I think the XC40 will retail around 35K-40K(higher spec) in the UK.

How hard is it to add colour trim to the back doors That's a bit too cheap for my liking

That's probably because they were, After all it was at a launch show.

I am not too sure about the T-Roc to be honest. On first look it appears more like a Citroen SUV. And the blue or yellow interior looks pretty much like a child's toy. I am not convinced yet :D

I absolutely don't like a reduction of quality. Poor materials, hard plastic...is not a VW. The door panel for example is soo poor, it's like a Dacia. Big delusion for me.

Most frustrating part within 5 minutes of watching.... Why have VW not continued the interior door trim panel colours and design on the rear doors!!!! For a premium brand this is disgraceful. Sort it out immediately and stop cutting corners.

It is only a shame that the name from behing reads TROC which is not a encouraging for a brand new car! It seems that the auto sector does not learn from the past, Renault made the same mistake with its NOVA sold in south america, bad name choice. I wanna one but I will have the name removed (it is a free option normally :))Fred

The red (at least this red) isn't looking good on the outside and even worse on the inside. All other combinations are at least fitting.

I'm done with these SUVs... But they have to "sell" so well.

Great exterior, but poor quality interior.

VW seriously need to up there game and with this they have just failed. They couldn't even be arsed to put the colour panel in the back doors and in 5 years time it will be riddled with the usual faults. Over priced hype. 👎🏼👎🏼
