Sounds nice bro, I had a free flow back box fitted, 50mm ss can't get to the name, it sounds nice as well, but not high up the rev range, its a 1,6 vivo, but maybe exhaust has to work its way in, only done last week friday, must just get a tail piece, i like the way it pops when lifting off or gearing down. I'm from cpt as well lol

Yousuf Hadjee its a straight through box I bought at China town. If you check out my channel you will see I did another video after doing a decat and it sounds even better

Franvera94 I had mine done today I done a straight through pipe from the catalytic converter then added a small silencer very nice sound

I have a polo 1.6 too and i want that pop sounds when you change gear or lift off accelerator. how did you get that sound?

Its only a rear muffler I bought from a local China Town, equivalent to what you can buy on Ebay. No software, I have a follow up video where I removed the catalytic converter, which made it even better.

Sup mate, I have a Polo Vivo 1.4 and after watching this video I thought its time to change my exhaust. So you say you only changed your back box not the entire exhaust system? I love the sound it makes when your changing gears. so mind helping a brother out with some advise? Thanks (y)

Sup man, i will gladly help, but to be dead honest, you just have to keep in mind that a 1.4 and 1.6 will not sound exactly the same. But here is what i did with my exhaust. I bought the back box at China Town parow, was about R350, for me the sound is great, but it is extremely loud. If you are fine with that, go for it. Go to China Town and see which box you like, i have one of the smaller ones.

Joey unfortunately with normally aspirated engines there is not much you can do. The usual list is cold air intake, full exhaust (manifold to muffler), performance camshafts, porting and gasflowing.

No, this was only the exhaust.

Za'eem it is just a stainless straight thru box, basically like running a straight pipe with big tip

Alfie Howells-Smith somewhere in the comments I replied the following to someone else's question. Full exhaust (manifold to back box), intake, performance camshafts, porting and gasflowing the head. you will gain about 15kw, but it is going to cost you quite a lot of money

stainless steel can handle with a straight pipe and a muffler. 1.4 and 1.2 engine is almost the same. I'm sorry for my english.

yes it will. It's not about the engine capacity. the principle is the same for all 4-stroke engines.
