Had to make another comment as I loved this one so much and the W8 strapped down blown my mind the revs only moved slowly but the acceleration and speed stunned me. Great video decently deserves a thumbs up 👍

I would do some very unspeakable things to own a wagon version of a W8 Passat with a manual transmission.

With all due respect, I hate manual wagons. I prefer them in coupes and hatchbacks and when there are no coupe or hatchback versions I prefer to have a manual in a sedan rather than in a wagon.

Such a great all round car and personally love the estate version 130bhp and once you get a towing hook fitted in place and a roof box on top and you have a car that can do the lot, except drive itself.

I had one be before I bought my camaro, and before I put exhaust on it, I remember thinking "did I get ripped off because this doesn't sound or feel like an 8 cylinder"

It's on a Dyno. He disconnects the clutch to calculate the drivetrain losses.
