I own a 2013 Vento 1.6 TDI manual. Have driven closer to 1.4 lac kms. I have never incurred more than 18k for every service of 15000 kms. I had a thought of upgrading it with any recent VW vehicle but feel another 25-30 k INR on my Vento can make it run for another 2-3 years or till 2 lac kms. Consistently gives a mileage of 22+ kmpl while driving at 80-100 kmph on flat roads, with 4 members on board and a boot luggage of around 100kgs. As on date there is no body vibrations or rattles or any steering issues in this vehicle which has gracefully aged.

This Ameo user seems to know a lot about VW. Especially when he was asked about the stiff suspension…he gave the perfect and correct answer - “stiff suspension is for stability during curves and bends”. 👍

For my sx4 it cost me only 8k for bumper replacement and painting and i driven it for about 1,50,000 kms and it haven't failed to satisfy my choice of buying it and it gonna to celebrate 10th year anniversary by February month.💕💕❤️

Yes, what he said is right. With skoda/VW we can't say any quality issues, performance,etc., But the thing is maintenance is pricey. If someone doesn't have any affordability issues, they can prefer VW/skoda. DSG is the biggest advantage of VW/Skoda.

I am using till today my Vento Diesel 2012 model, taken delivery from the sale center on Feb 2012. But usage is minimum. As on date only 67thou+ KMs travelled . Travelling comfort, engine noise control is superb, even up to my maximum speed limit of 100km/hr . So at higher speed, no idea on noise control related data. At 80-100 km/hr speed, road noise is little bit there. A common negative factor w.r.t Vento car is lagging on front head lights power yes it is not brighter enough at higher speed during night. Company is not recommending for replacement through higher power bulbs. Because electricle circuit system is already designed to existing status only, so not to face any consequence on later electrical problems due to such replacement. If possible a review on VW Vento can be done by Mr.Birla.

I own polo diesel maintenance cost yearly is rs. 13000 incl GST only.. what he says is not true. Using polo for 5 years now and exchanged for new polo 2 years back.

I own Škoda Rapid(2018).TDI is a tremendous engine, same engine is shared with VW Ameo. I don't think service cost would be 20k per year. I took service package for my car it costed me 30K for 4 year's..

Own a 1.5 TDI diesel manual 2018. For every 15000 km service cost me around 15000 Rs. Vehicle is peppy, sturdy, maintenance free and gives me peace of mind. Battery is replaced at 25000 kms as the usage is minimum and own a duster too. Driven @ 60 km speed constantly getting 20 km mileage. Not inclined to go for any other brand after using this. Maruthi, Honda and hundai are nowhere near this in safety aspects. After warranty is over you can service anywhere at your convenient kms and reduce the service costs. Of course the vehicle is discontinued but like to retain it for ever. Mine is a base variant and bought it for 8 Lakhs only. For the investment so far my service costs are only 50K in 4 yrs including a battery.

Im also having poloTdi 2017 car2times battery changed,one injector changed at 90k ,upto 60k company tyres came with car i used,after that changed all 4 tyres due to one incident i changed front both arms 12k ,rear suspension changed at 95k,yet to change front suspension just ran 1lakh kms good stability in highspeeds confidence in taking overtakes cuts and corner easy manuoverability having more power to drive,but more noise coming inside cabin ,Head lights is having less illumination issues at night drive, maintenance is normally 15k per yearly service in showroom,outside just 7k only ,one power window motor is around 10k ,rear suspension 15k, front suspension 22k, injectors new 28k,but smooth running never stops due to technical issue at mid of road,if maintained well still i can drive it 190kmph recently supports well

I won VW vento 7 speed DSG completed 55K. I drive Pune to Kumbakonam... Amazing performance. Avg service cost 20K per year. No Major complaints.

I bought the same variant but preowned for 6lakhs. Driven only 20,000 kms. Bit expensive in terms of maintenance but enjoying every bit of the drive.

Maintenance cost is same as maruthi sedam. For swift you have to service two times at 7000rs so cost is 14000rs same as vw vento.

Hi ,i am having Ameo TDI manual yearly 15k service cost for me . Facing issues like ABS sensor fails in rainy season common in vw cars in showroom cost for 1 4k outer 1.2k,AC vents brokes often ,Brakes good but we can go for brembos pads for even good stoping distance,

@@sakthi641603 In City am getting around 8-12 kmpl depends on the traffic. In highways am getting around 18-23.5 kmpl depends on the road conditions.Max mileage that I got is 23.5 kmpl when cruising between 70-80 kmph with less braking on NH

This owner says completely wrong information about almost everything including service cost, noise cancellation, service interval, etc. Please meet other VW owners. I am having the same car. The service cost is not more than 10 k per year or 15,000 kms. We must service the car once a year and if you put service pack, u only pay 7 k per year for service. He says best car after audi, the thing is Audi and Ameo share the same DSG gear box.

I own an Ameo tdi (diesel) manual highline, 1.5 since aug 2017, the car is beast and great in handling at high speeds; however, I am bit skeptical about the service cost owner is mentioning here. The maximum yearly maintenance cost I have paid is 13k and from last 2years it is 10k. I think he is exaggerating or being ripped off, mine has clocked 52k km on speedometre. This is the best purchase of my life and would still go for skoda or VW for my next car.
