The kWh/h makes perfectly sense in this context and is also used in energy industry. Yeah, it can be reduced to kW, but it's semantically a bit different. The energy unit just happens to be kWh, but it could be also MJ, for example. Also gasoline consumption in l/h could be turned into W, but it's not. The normal people barely understands the difference between kW and kWh. Even some EV drivers.

Only 22 km less range (120 km/h) than a M3 LR Highland under very similar conditions. Considering the M3 is a class smaller [Compact executive car (D) vs Executive car (E), 469cm vs 496cm, and especially the height, 144cm vs 154cm - which especially shows in the backseat space and seating height) and is known to be most efficient, this is an impressive result. The car is grear and shows how capable VW is once it sets a goal. Problem with this car is pricing. It gets into MB and BMW territory and this will surely affect sales negatively. Also, you must consider people that are still choosing between fossil vehicles and EVs. It is very difficult to explain why you should pay 60+k euro for a car that covers between 320 to 450km when for less money you can get a MB GLB /or something similar/, which will serve wonders as a family car.

although it is a good overall package, it is just hugely overpriced. I doubt people on the market for i5, model S, EQE or even ET7 would be cross shopping for the id7. It is in a between price range with no customers. Too expensive compare to M3, Seal or i4, too meh specs and image compare to the upper segment

currently fully equipped in Germany for under €68k is actually pretty good for a car like this. An Ioniq 6 doesn't cost much less. A Model 3 LR with all the equipment costs around €66-67k, the Model 3 SR is of course €10k cheaper but also has a smaller battery.

I own a 2019 Model S which cost me 30k and came with a 3 year warranty which costs 500 EUR a year. After 2 years Tesla will still be worth 20-22k, ID.7 from 2024 maybe 30k. ID.7 looks terrible if you ask an average bystander, which for me a reason enough not to buy it.
