VW Golf 8 1.0 eTSI 2021 | Test drive | no talking

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Volkswagen Golf 8 is a compact car/small family car (C-segment) produced by the German automotive manufacturer Volkswagen since 1974, marketed worldwide across eight generations, in various body configurations.
Golf 8 was launched in Wolfsburg on 24 October 2019, and arrived in German showrooms in December 2019. The Golf Mk8 uses the same revised MQB platform as the fourth-generation Audi A3 and SEAT León.
eTSI eTSI models use the same engines as the TSI models with the addition of a mild-hybrid system and a powerful brake energy recuperation function, paired exclusively with the 7-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG). The energy stored in the 48 V lithium-ion battery supplies the 12 V vehicle electrical system and drives the 48 V belt starter generator.
Engine:
1.0 eTSI 999 cc (61 cu in) 110 PS (81 kW; 108 hp)
200 Nm (148 lb ft) at 1,400-4,000 rpm
9.2 s to 100km/h
214 km/h (133 mph) max speed

Thank you. I was pretty amazed how the engine kicked back on as it was never stopped at all.

If you are aware, the mild-hybrid makes a buzzing sound every time it is activated (when the rpm drops to 0 or rises from 0). You can understand it when you listen out loud. (Second 4.35-4.42)

Hi, I am huge fan of manuals, so I'm happy for your choice. On the versions - I haven't driven the tsi version so cant comment on that one. I'd buy my self the eTsi version just to be more eco friendly, but you have to consider that it would be a little demanding or your wallet because of installed systems and components as they may break. More components = more potential points of failure. Hope you find your new horse, whichever it is. 🤞🏻

Sorry, no data on this one. I like to check consumptions on fuelly.com where users submit their own experience throught the app but the data is available for anyone. Just pick the specifics on car.
