I have been “binge watching” the first 33 episodes over the last week and amongst other things, Robert gives me the impression that he is an awesome mentor and an even better person. Mitch, you’re being mentored by the best. This rebuild is more than addictive.

I meet you at the Bugorama in Sacramento a couple of weeks ago. When I saw you I wasn't 100% sure it was you until I got a little closer. I have bad vision. I just wanted to let you know that I have been following your bus project sense the beginning. I love the progress you and the Skinner team are making. Keep up the great work. Your videos of this project are such a highlight. Between watching you learn and build Kona back up and learning some ideas from your style of shooting, absolutely love this series.

Your Kona van is a restoration to factory new standards. Wow! I never realized people took their rebuilds to this extreme. It is better than factory. It has all been done by hand to the nth. degree of perfection. Won't you be afraid to take it out and possibly damage the perfect build. This is not a criticism...It's a fact. You are creating a museum piece in VW perfection. Wow!!!

G’day Mitch and Lori, I’ve watched the entire series on Kona’s restoration and most of all I’ve loved to see the passion and enjoyment you’ve gotten from this project over the past 5 years. I know that when Kona is finished and you get back to Maui, the enjoyment you’ll get from driving your bus will be off the charts. I am hoping that day is not too far off for you both. Looking so good !… nice to see the doors being fitted. Attention to details and all the work being done is crazy and amazing but it will be a very special bus when it’s all finished.
