    thanks! here you can see and hear this was almost 2 years ago now it works even little better. I am now working on some upcoming updates and improvements, including new 1776cc forged pistons, crankshaft, connecting rods, camshaft and clutch among others ... I will also be working on a new transmission and paint on the body, I think this quarantine has put me a little loco! (insane)

    Hi nice setup 🤙🏾 Where did you get your intake manifold for your 40DCOE CARBURETOR? Is it custom made? Can you please direct me where you got the manifold from? Or the parts specs if it’s custom made? Also the AMR500 bracket? Where to purchase? Thank you greatly appreciated God bless.

Everything I made it custom, I just tried to arrange all components so that it worked well and the result was successfully and looks good too!. not at store or place to purchase them, because intake manifold and blower bracket were built in small workshops of friends dedicating my free times... was a personal project that just come to my mind! thanks for watching!

    This configuration is already discontinued and now I have another engine that is the most recent video that you will find here on my channel. I have no temperature problems, the manifold tubes have a ceramic coating which keeps the air that enters the engine and the supercharger cool

    Thanks for watching! I believe that both systems have a good performance. I decided on vintage speed because before I used it on other bugs. It also has a good price; but what I like the most is the OEM type shape and a very nice sound that I can not find in other systems (it really sounds like a Porsche)

    Hello, thanks for watching. I made a few setup with main and idle jets (135/55) in my weber, but the fine tune is done in the ignition map of the canems ecu TPS as you may know it, sends load parameter to ecu for timing advance requirements, but you know something, all componets installed was a very new project, because I never make this component mix before, but runs very nice, powerfull and lot of fun drive this car!

    Your problem with the ignition must be becouse the high compression, not the supercharger. Did you increased the compression ratio? If yes, thats it.

    hi, I have AMR 500 waiting to go on one of two engines I have, 1600 and 1641. Could you tell us how much power you are putting out?

  • @alexvillegas9806

    @alexvillegas9806

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hi! At least you must get twice the power... Your 1600cc in normal conditions has about 36-40hp, and when installing an AMR500 you can get approximately 75-80Hp. if you also add a good exhaust system and some improvements in your ignition you can possibly get 90Hp or more... I have added more improvement parts to my engine, and soon I will take my beetle to the dynamometer, hoping get close to 100-110Hp ... stay tuned for my news!
