Bajcetic is the same age as Neves and they both play in the same position as well. Don't think is wise to spend 120 million euros to buy what we already have in my opinion

We can't rely on Bajcetic though with the injuries he has had so far he could be one of these players that gets injured all the time and if we are going to challenge we need someone in that DM role. Endo done a decent job but he is 31 and he isn't the long term answer for us. I hope I'm wrong because I really like Bajcetic but he is still very young and learning.

@@TheKailoon1 he missed all of last season through injury and he missed the end of the season before due to injury also. Yes it's too early to say if he is going to be constantly getting injured but its not looking great so far is it and if we want to challenge for the premier league we can't rely on him at his age with his injury record so far it would be too much of a risk.

The fact everything is so quiet around liverpool is worrying! Arsenal , United etc all making moves

The reality is anyone who actually cares about their family members would have done the exact same thing. Particularly if the police and security were doing nothing about it. This is a situation where Darwin will likely face consequences but anyone with real world reality perspective knows that they would have done the exact same thing if their family and friends were being harassed and attacked.

Being the Liverpool and Netherlands captain must be weighing on VVD. I wonder if we offer him to step down from his Liverpool captaincy to focus on his play. We could use the vacancy then to keep TAA with a contract renewal along with VVD. We could even offer Mo the vice captain but I would rather that go to McAllister or Endo(depending if he plays as much).

Imagine we lost Salah, Mane, Firmino, VVD, Matip, Hendo, Fabinho and Trent for a combined fee of £82m shocking management from the club

Can’t force sell a player under contract

As an England fan, i feel bad for the Netherlands, But on the other hand, I'm glad that England have made the final

Joao Neves would be a cracking singing. Even if he’s our only singing this summer, I’d be delighted. Not sure about the Nunez situation. He’s worthy of both contempt and praise.

Yeh I'm not convinced by any of the CBs. Guehi too expensive, yoro off to Madrid, Pacho/Hincapie don't know enough, calafiori off to arsenal, Antonio Silva being prone to a serious bozo. Neves is a generational talent who Madrid haven't bid for. Seems like a no brainer signing to me, a RW maybe

Thoughts are simple, it's all ifs buts and maybes other clubs as you've mentioned before have got deals done, we are still simmering and i hate to say it but i see us getting absolutely nothing seriously done in the positions we ddefinitely need to fill.

Hold on mate yes he misses chances but football is a team game not a single player game he is going to provide the goals of Liverpool and Uruguay and the pressure should not be just put on a single player he has the prospect to be a fantastic player but still has room to improve and I honestly think he will under slot maybe lay off all the hate

The same could be said about a few other liverpool players but they came through in the end and I think the same will happen with Darwin... he is a very interesting player and brings a lot to the team if he was to get his shooting and goal scoring on point then he could be a very dangerous player he has the pace the skills just needs to work on the goal scoring then he would be a very dangerous player

Sadly Uruguay could have scored at least a goal. Darwin missed one "easy" chance plus two other.

On Van Dijk obviously i don’t think he is leaving this summer I think he has even said that I’ve just had this weird feeling that he will retire at the end this season On Darwin I don’t care if he gets a ban any good farther would of done the same
