Yes , although I bought a vinyl limited edition of Ville and the agents , the folk music wasnt my thing either. This is more Villesque !! Lets hope I can get a trip to Helsinki planned in the future to see Ville live again as I've missed seeing him live . I still have my memories of my 19 HIM Cconcerts but it would be nice to begin again 🥰

So sincere it hurts! I am 34 and i listen to his music since 2002. Now my 10 years old son is a big fan too. For those who criticise Ville... HIM was an epic band. Mige, Linde, Gas and Burton were more than amazing BUT.... let's face it.... Ville is everything. He is a poet, he created everything, he is the soul and the spirit and the heart. We follow you and we support you mr.Valo! For ever! Keep going❤️

That “So sincere” out of nowhere gave me chills.

“Here come the tears.” “So sincere it hurts.” Favorite parts. 6-months later, and I still listen to HIM on the way to and from work, 5-days a week.

Ville has been one of the biggest inspirations in life, and his music has always stuck with me for years, there’s something very special about this man’s artistry that is impossible to put in words. I was so sad when HIM parted ways, but now with this EP I’m completely ecstatic to hear more.

I"ve just found the song, like, a couple of hours ago. Since then I've listened to the song for like, 20 times. I'm a "die hard" HIM fan, I believe I know most of HIM songs by every note, so at some point I've said to myself, I want to concentrate to hear the voice, the instrumental lines - like, I got curious "to compare", the bass lines, the drums, the vocals - with HIM - only the natural desire, no? But I've so far failed "to separate" this song into some "isolated" sound lines. I've struggled "to separate and to analyze" it, and I've lost in that to it. The song takes and it rules, and it flies all by itself as a complete whole, it is heard as a complete harmonious whole only. I'm puzzled. Apart from my current shock... this is a perfection, the whole sound perfection that takes and does not let go from listening on and again. My moments of happiness now for me myself, for us all HIM fans.

What is happening? seriously I'm so excited!!

I just put a Heartagram decal on my car yesterday, and I listen to HIM on the way to and from work five times a week. I rebought all of the CDs that I could find online, and I had my mom mail me the singles collection from my home back in Hawaii. I’m so pissed because I had a chance to see them live at the House of Blues, but I didn’t know it was their farewell tour (I hadn’t listened to them for a few years at the time), so I thought that I could see them later. It was such a huge mistake. I wish they would come back and release another full album, or that they would release all of their songs on an instrumental CD. THAT would be awesome.

I miss the old HIM, the dark lyrics, the dark guitar riffs and Ville’s deep voice. I know that not every band has to stay the same, but since “Dark Light” they don’t sound the same anymore, which it can be good or bad. But at least Ville is giving something to us that we have been expecting for a long time, a great comeback for him!

I believe Ville wants to release these songs and more songs to come with the HIM vibe, he has said previously that he has 15 songs that are unrecorded/unmixed that he wanted help working on and get them released and those are the songs he had written from before HIM broke up. These 3 songs that just came out are some of the songs that were unrecorded/unmixed that he was talking about. He also said in a black and white finnish interview (if you seen it) "They will most likely sound like HIM" there was something else he said before that in the same sentence i don't remember. Point is though, enjoy the songs, be happy for Ville, even Ville is happy with them :)

Congrantulations and greetings to Ville Valo for being able to start a solo career in these dark times. Many of us or maybe just I used to think the drinking had finished his beautiful voice. But he is singing better and the same sound he created with his ex band partners. Congrantulations and good luck in this new phase in your life!
