Vueling Airbus TOUCH and GO at Lanzarote Airport
Hi aviators 🛩️,
Few days ago during a landing operation at Lanzarote Airport, we saw how an Airbus A19 of Vueling Airlines took land and ran along the runway but something go bad and the pilots take the desicion of aborth the landing and to take off (Touch and Go operation). Later in the second attempt the flight landed without problems.
What do you think were the causes for aborting the first landing attemp?

Well done that pilot!
First attempt the Aircraft touched down way beyond the touchdown markers .
He over-flared and landed too far down the runway. He would have needed to use excessive braking and therefore opted for the safer option.
Bit scary when this happens & passengers dont know whats going on.

Slight over flare and was quite abit past the touchdown zone , sure they plenty of room to stop but safer to go around

@@LanzaroteWebcam but runway have 2400m lenght. A320 can brake strong With thrust reversers speed brakes and. ..brakes

Obviously a training flight.
May bé to fast for landing or wrong flaps settings ?or wrong descent raté?
His brake flaps didn´t deploy when trying to land the first time

You have the reason Colin, but also in my opinion the touchdown zone TDZ in the second attempt was correct but not in the first.
did he confuse the brake with the accelerator? that there was no wind!
