I can't believe they didn't bolt that grinder to the floor. It's like pivoting on plate that's warped from too much welding. And the guy is like "then you put dis on dis and take dis and screw it on dis".

Wow it is almost like a gigantic Bulldog drill bit sharpener. Unfortunately it suffers from the same shortcoming that does though. In that it leaves striations parallel with the edge, not perpendicular. That can lead to chipping. I've found with my Bulldog sharpener that if I mount it at a 45 degree angle to level I can get a perpendicular edge grind then. It is kind of hard to explain with text. So if anyone is interested, and replies I'll paste a link to a picture of it then.

you go though all the trouble to demonstrate but the wobbly base is spoiling it all

SCANTOOLGROUP det er jeg glad for at læse. Jeg sætter pris på at der stadig bliver fabrikeret i Danmark. Jeg har selv 3 stk slibette 8 i mit værksted, - en med båndpudser, en med store land til drejestål/toolbit, og så en med alm. Slibesten. Er utrolig glad for dem, de kører bare super godt. Det er grej der holder generationer. Håber i vil fortsætte det gode arbejde i mange år endnu. Især her i Danmark 👍🙂
