Omg, flying in storm is even more terrifying. Nicely explained. I had a bit of problems carrier landing, I just realised the mistake I was doing, I would pitch up and down instead just leaving it as is and only use throttle. Definitely trying carrier landings in storm tomorrow.

Just a suggestion but maybe it's better to use the free floating camcorder instead of POV because it looks kinda weird.

I put off buying this game for so long because of controls being ingame only I'm here to tell anyone who is the same buy it now lol most fun I've had on a flight sim and one of my fave VR games atm put 100hrs on it already lol only second week in but loving it who cares about using my flight stick on dcs peaking through a gap in vr to find buttons on my keyboard dcs runs like ass in vr anyways lol

Not a mod, currently in public testing to be released in a future update.

What would be useful is if they add the alt of the runway. If visibility gets too low

Yeah there was a suggestion in the discord about adding additional airport information such as altitude above sea level, current weather conditions along with the ILS info since the page has alot of empty space in game so far.

How did you pull up the weather control menu? I’m on the beta patch but can’t find how to modify those options.

Only the developer knows, it will depend on how many bugs this update causes, and since this is something new besides just a new aircraft, it seems it is causing a decent amount of bugs. From what I remember about the last update with the EF-24G and new radar mechanics, it only took a few days to go from public testing to the official version. If you want to experience this yourself, it is a "public" beta that anyone can experience, so far it runs smooth for me with just a few lighting and audio issues that were noticeable.

Does the weather update work on older missions or will it only work on missions created after the patch.

So far it runs pretty smooth, but I think for a few people running older equipment, some of the big storms do have a bit of an impact unfortunately.

@@SARGENTWIGGELS7 Thank you for the response, I have mid to high spec PC so I don’t think I’ll have problems. It used to run pretty badly when I played the early build of the game that had weather, but I just saw that it has been optimized in this new implementation. Great video man, new sub!

우선 VTOL VR을 공용 테스트 베타버전 (the public test beta) 으로 세팅하셔야 합니다. 그 다음 키보드에서 알파벳 O를 누르셔서 메뉴를 누르시면 돼요. 'VR화면'이 아니라, '컴퓨터 화면'에서만 볼 수 있어요.

This is the T-55 trainer aircraft and it is in the actual game. I think this one is my favorite to fly.

@@VTOLVR-Pilot kind of yes and no, I've been flying the modded aircraft in the public test version of the game. But I cannot use the weather functions and can only adjust the time of day slider.
