Would be lit if videos could be watched via mpv or mplayer (there are various video output modes). Also if e.g. sixel was supported in the future, even an X server could be run, heh.

Sound forwarding, pixel graphics, launching Doom II and video playback are next in line.

Nice. (BTW. sixel is not a typo in my comment but a protocol that various applications including mpv can use and many terminal emulators have support for. On "tty" so far only yaft and ite on some BSD however and maybe something on old DEC systems so support in something maintained that doesn't require the X server would be nice...)

@@muellerhans Yeah, I generalize all terminal graphics protocols under the term "pixel graphics". Due to its widespread use, Sixel is likely to be the first protocol implemented.
