My last crawler is Cross RC JT-6. My first 6x6, and of course it was a toss up between the TRX6. I'm a little concerned about aftermarket support but so far I'm loving the JT6. I've added the fusion SE, AGFRC servo, some brass on the front. I have a Phoenix and looking at the VRD next. Thanks for sharing 👍🏾💯

Yeah with cross the parts support is probably the biggest concern. Glad its working out for you so far!

I just picked up an axial scx10 iii basecamp k10. Going to slowly modify it. Keep it mostly stock for a while. I was able to get a vs4-10 ultra before they sold out. I want to build it but i might leave it sealed.

Basecamp is one of the few platforms from the big 4 brands that I have never had. Seems like a solid truck! I respect your ability to keep it mostly stock haha Thanks for watching!

2700 -3500kv on 4S and getting 100% throttle more often than 10% throttle. It's fun for some to drive it like they stole it

Can you use the hd44 with the stock plastic knuckles?

Cannot say 100% but it's the same internals and the machines knuckles go on most (maybe all) of their straight axles. Give VP customer service a shout if concerned. They are usually very quick! 👍

I've ran 3 or 4 of them and never had an issue.

By the time you're done adding all the upgrades, you'd been better off just getting another phoniex and buy the fordyce body off somone, would of saved you the time and a lot of money. lol

It's not a Phoenix though. The upgrades don't come with the Phoenix. Wanted to do something with a VFD platform and not the twin and on straight axles. The best solution would have been to put together my unbuilt pro and added the hd44s but wanted to make the video

The Fordyce is the Phoenix, just without the VFD twin. Many actual prefer the non twin tranny. Simple setup, no BS added. And non of the upgrades in the video come with any of the Phoenix kits or RTR´s. Lots to learn young Padawan "lol"
