I have to make this clear: 1. In "I HATE YOU", Yes, I know Tails could've been burned instead of exe/soul but, before it was released, I don't think I can find one I wanted. So I'm stuck using exe/soul at this point. 2. Boyfriend only appears when it has Sonic HUD, just like how Sonic 2 does, you play as him. Boyfriend goes forward but he suddenly hears Tails going out of the oil, Tails being "burned" (a little reference to Sonic Mania in "Oil Ocean Act 2"). If you're wondering why I didn't do the same with Sonic, I don't really know why I didn't do it but I just, really didn't. 3. I know the story is kind of messed up and all but, you know, there's chances that it could be improved at some point so yeah.

* This cover has a relatable sense because in classic sonic the hedgehog 2, many people that played with sonic and tails, instead of letting tails help, they kept letting tails die while he followed and went ahead just to continue on the progress, so no wonder why tails would hate sonic for that

Instead of Tails' soul, one could come up with a burnt Tails/Tails Chemical burn

this is the most tails thing to do if we're talking Generations onward, ESPECIALLY Lost World, where he LITERALLY GETS JEALOUS OF ROBOTNIK WORKING WITH SONIC, which would give him an idea to turn on them

Honestly I feel like instead of being in Oil Ocean Zone it should've been in Emerald hill or Chemical Plant, and Sonic's going to the boss, but instead of Eggman, Tails is in one of Eggman's machines, whether it's the drill, or the OG machine from Sonic 1. And at the end of the song sonic blows up the machine Tails is in. But that's just a theory... A GAME THEORY

My Lore: I saw someone selling some retro games and i bought the sonic the hedgehog cuz i loved sonic characters. Meanwhile at my house, i was playing sonic the hedgehog until i went into a level called "OH GOD NO" the level was Oil ocean zone,i kept playing until a small cutseen plays and there's tails and tails says "you think robotnick Worked alone" and i was shocked that tali's was in robotnicks side,they still arguing until, tails flies and stomped him and says "WHY WON'T YOU DIE" meanwhile Sonic fighs back a little too hard that tails fell through the Oil and didn't make it out and Sonic cried and "level completed" letter appeared and the game ends.
