Been having a lot of fun with this deck for awhile now, glad to see some variants that I can try out. I've tried out Mukotai Soulripper to get in damage with all the tokens from anvil before, although that might not be needed with Forge, Ob, and Thane showed off here.

Interesting take on raksac, looking forward to trying it out.

Huh, I don't even connected at first that ObNix is a even better with new forge then default anvil strat, because with forge you would more often get huge attack creatures that you happy to sacrifice, so you would get beefier ObNix copy then usually. Because if I remember during SNC time you usually get 2-3 power Nix, or even 1 because you sac 1/1 from forge. But now if game would drag on - you could get a BIG Boy

When the Vraan engine revs up it sounds like vraaaaan, vraaaaaaaaaan! VRAAN, VRAAN!

I love watching your freshly brewed decks in action but I really would like to see you play them in BO3 matches to see if the deck would work in real life tournaments or not. Please consider making BO3 content

He is quite unique. If I were to point out something negative (not really) about LVD, it would be the fact that after watching him, I have a hard time with other MTG creators. They feel... cringe.

Arne Huschenbeth, who plays mainly explorer BO3, and Motumbo who plays lots of historic jank.

I was trying to do something similar with Forge/Anvil and the Red Skullbomb to add counters on the forge but never could get it right. Maybe I'll use this list as an inspiration, I still think the skullbomb works well to pump the Forge to some nice levels.

LegenVD has a forge/oil deck he featured not long ago, maybe you can find some more inspiration there. The deck seemed pretty fun (altho probably not very competitive).

@@yallia6197 Yeah I saw that deck as well, it was very cool, one shotting with the Sylex when Solphim is in play. I was looking specifically to build in black/red as I currently don't have resources to complete that one. Seems like LVD found the correct cards (as he always does) to make forge work with anvil.

I Started with oni cult,then found out braska, then tryed to buil around these two, and finally found something worth ! Thank you ! But i cant figure out how to avoid poison,, killin them makes poison,spell makes poison...how to deal with poison ? To get full amazing game with this deck ?

Missing is the land that can become an artifact for x and tap. Double your anvil or forge.

Urabrask's Forge reminds me of As Foretold.

What are your thoughts on the 3 mana, 1/3 black creature that draws a card when a creature dies? Has great synergy with a sacrifice themed deck, and keeps the gas topped up.

Could be good, it's tough to pick the 3-drops since there are a lot of good options.

Surprised to not see mycosynth gardens to make sure you always get two anvils going

Those tokens aren't artifacts so it wouldn't work.

Personally I loved swarming haven't used forge yet but it could be better cheaper and mono colored

Is there an advantage to use 'anhiliating glare' over 'eaten alive' ? I feel it's always better to exile opponents cards than just destroy them. What am I missing ? help !!!

Glare allows you to sacrifice a non-creature artifact, you could probably play eaten alive if you prefer the exile

Glare lets you sac an artifact, Eaten is only creature. This deck actively *wants* to sac artifacts.

Hard to decide if I prefer forge over Braids in this type of deck.

Built a deck in this lane but my decks are never very well rounded or polished.

Just for fun I put one Mirror Box in the deck and ended up winning one game with 3 Vren and 2 Ob’s with their respective tokens 😂🎉😅😮 Hahahahah That game was fun!

@@LegenVD Maybe over one of the Urabask Forges and 1 Vrann. Might require trimming a synthesizer though since curve would go up, but i love synthesizer. I think 2 vrann is enough and you def don't want multiples. I would like to get voldaren epicure up to 4 in this list also to improve consistency. Maybe 2 epicure over 2 cut down. Not sure we need more than 6 (10 if you count bloodtithe) removals when you are gumming up the ground.

think myc gardens is worth it here?

I’ve featured a few Red decks without it in the past month, but it’s the best card in Standard so I’m not going to avoid it on purpose.

I think Ob Nixilis is is one of the most underrated cards from the New Capenna sets. Really strong in combination with oni-cult anvil.

"underrated" as in when he came out he pushed Rakdos Sacrifice into the standard metagame. We all know he's good and strong, but right now, post-SNC, he's just a little bit outclassed.
