@@sharkboyryan195 No, it doesn't compare to the new super smooth rails with cork screws and loops etc. But its a classic design and everything evolved from those wooden coasters. I prefer the new coasters that don't beat the snot out of my body lol, and they are fast and scary as F, but I respect those old wooden ones as well and btw, some people ride them because of the rough nostalgic ride. The Blue Streak was my first coaster, what a cool wooden set up but you can only do so much with them. The original 1976 Corkscrew @ Cedar Point is still my all time fav with 3 inversions. Way ahead of its time, so frickin smooth for coasters back then.

It's easy just swipe left-right and then you can spin around to see the whole back, left, right and front obviously we can see the front but I'm still adding

It's a great ride. I like the theme that it is a wild beast running through the forest. And the classic wooden tracks make it a rough ride - you know you are really moving fast as this thing throws you around. The video can't capture that. If you are at Kings Island be sure to ride it - and then ride it again at night, even better.

So I downloaded this video with KZread downloader in order to view it through my Oculus VR Glasses without internet connection needed. How do I view it through the glasses? It does not file in in my document file on my computer so I can transfer it to the VR glasses?

@@_Paps Sounds like big fast wooden roller coasters are definetely not for you. Stick with the metal ones. More smooth and easy on your delicate ribs. 😊.

That is awesome scenery for this roller coaster. I can only imagine how cool the night ride would be. Overall, this roller coaster seems to mesh exceptionally well with the forest scenery. One could not have designed that from scratch, any better than nature has already done...This is definitely one ride that I want to go on, within the next few years. I have been to Kings Island. But that was in 1983, when I was eleven years old. lol...

I first went on this in 79/80... still the best coaster I've ever been on !

I was actually moving my phone around until I found out you could move by tapping the screen 😂😃

Just search anything and go to filter and select 360° under "Features." If you're planning on watching in VR, it's a good idea to select 4K as well, because you just can't see anything if it's too low res.

I used to have a season pass to Kings Island and would ride the Coasters on my way home from work. This was the late nineties. I first rode The Beast when it opened in April of 1979. when I was 12 . I must have waited in line for 5 hours it seemed. I will never forget that moment. My all time favorite coaster.

Wow, well made ride, well engineered. Even over time that last deceleration hill is perfect.

Great 360° ride, gave me goosebumps !

This is the best rollercoaster I've have ridden hands down. I've rode this ride at least 3 to 5 times in one day. Facts. An I would say the best rollercoaster on earth. 😊

This is the first 360 video I've ever seen very cool! I've ridden the Beast it's been couple of decades ago... And to be honest, I wasn't really impressed, not enough exciting elements,... just a long ride.

The sound thru my headset is sick, plus the scenery is so nice....i adore trees with my thrills! Very enjoyable to move around and see from side to side, overhead. FUN!! Thank you.

Been on this one a few times, spent a couple years in Dayton while growing up. Took my husband to King’s Island for our honeymoon in 1994, and rode The Beast. Last time I was ever on a rollercoaster. Came off that thing with a mild concussion after my head smacked the seat going around one of the tighter curves. My head was all fuzzy feeling, and I knew something just wasn’t right. Don’t remember much about the rest of the day.

I don’t like Woden roller coasters bc I’m scared the wood will break and there structure looks scary af

This is the coolest shit I've seen in at least 10 years in terms of tech. Using your phone's gyroscope to watch 360° coaster videos = +1

What a wonderful construction and setting The Beast looks. Very well known coaster. The first wood rollercoaster (not counting any hobbyists' personal Neverlands) built in England in over 20 years opened at Alton Towers this year - Wicker Man. Some UK coasters have particularly good theming and Wicker Man looks like it's got that.

Making me in charge of moving the roller coaster made it so much more scary and realistic.

The Beast is top notch in thrill and good old belly gulps. It's super long, crazy fast at times then like a mellow cruise. The 1st hill lifts you so high you can literally scope out your car in the parking lot. While you're being lifted you're hearing the creepiest foreboding CLICK CLICK CLICK then there's a pause and DROP!!! It's amazing actually. Day or night. Front car or back car.

I rode this coaster for 36 straight years and it was so much fun. Front car is the best ride for me.

I kept turning it around and watching the two guys behind me it was hilarious.

It's been years since I've been to Kings Island and wrote that roller coaster. The last time I rode it, I was in my early 20's. At age 48, it's a wonder if I have the heart to still ride it, because if I do, I wanna ride it now!

Coolest ride on the planet😎. Always beats the crap out of me tho. I wake up next day bruised and stiff snd sore. But the RUSH is worth it. 😊

My favorite wooden coaster was the Cyclone Racer in Long Beach at the Pike that had two tracks with the cars racing one another. It was fun to wave at mom and dad in the other car. They dismantled it in 68 with the hopes of it being re-built elsewhere but it never happened.

I feel like being able to see the two guys in the front car is like breaking the fourth wall even thought this is a 360 camera and there are no walls at all 😆

I LOVE roller coasters and rides at 6 flags.. all over--- but my time for that has passed. Got mashed between two trucks in 99 and can't handle being jerked around quickly- it would hospitalize me very quick-- sometimes even a quick bump in the car from jerking the wheel to avoid something causes me SEVERE pain.... and I miss being able to enjoy these rides.. and so much more.

I've now officially been to kings island and have ridden this, it was pretty amazing and cool. Except that boring lift hill! 😂

Yeah, but the boredom of the lift hill, is an important aspect of any great coaster. It builds up the anticipation for the riders. From the very first clickity clack, to the last one. The lift hill is one of the most important parts of the ride. What I just mentioned is important. Plus, obviously it gets the train to the crest of the hill. lol

I just rode the Beast yesterday with my 18 year old niece. The first real roller coaster of my life. I’m so glad I overcame my fear of heights and conquered The Beast!

I’ve ridden the BEAST a few times. I love that it is a wooden coaster. It has been my favorite and always will. The best was riding it in the 1st car and then the last car when it was dark before closing. That was amazing. Of course don’t forget the photos at the end. 🎢

This is perfect spot on excellent quality just like it in rl because I live near the park!
