This man has been one of my idols since childhood-he’s very emotionally intelligent and wise. I got into Enigma during the hype and release of The Screen Behind the Mirror in 1999, and I insisted on collecting all of Enigma’s albums shortly thereafter. I looked up to MC and his music rather than the typical stars of the time, and I still look up to him. To this day, Enigma is my #1 favorite music project (artist) hands down, and I think it will always be. I can’t thank him enough for all he’s created to inspire me and open my mind to peace, love, culture and to the big picture of this wide world in general. It’ll always hold a place in my heart.

He is one of those people that i feel like thanking for existing. Enigma has been my favourite since 2009. And i don't pass too many days without religiously listening to Enigma. Makes me feel like i'm in another world, not this boring mundane existence.

Mr. Cretu is a musical GENIUS!!! ❤

I paid $650 for Tony Robin's 3 day Motivation Camp, Enigmas New CD 💿 Projected/Motivated me better than any Motivation program, all you need to do is listen to his music to help you through anything lol

I feel even more blessed to hear both English and Spanish Music. I grew up Listening to Mexican Music. However, when I turned 12 I started listening to All kind of Rock and Roll Music, from Aerosmith to Led Zeppelin. And in my Humble opinion, ENIGMA Music, is in A Class...All by Itself. This Music, Releases Your Inner Soul, all over this planet. From South Texas to Sunset Beach, Oahu-Hawaii to Mt. Everest.

What a pleasure it must be to compose such great songs. Being surrounded by all that collection of sounds. Does not surprise me that MC spends so many hours with "his ingredients in his laboratory" ;) In each interview we can feel how much love he puts in his work which is his passion, it s so inspiring! I love that song "Voyageur" it s one of my favs ;) Such an intensity and power of emotions! Wow! Love it! :)

Been following him since 1990. Love his music and it doesn't hurt that he's quite handsome, too!! ha💟😉

Im a big fan of Enigma,as a side-note you look very pretty as well.

Enigma stands as its own musical pillar. Cretu's catalogue does represent a higher form of music. From the ingenious use of world instruments and vocalizations to his meticulous sound design, packaged in reference-level production. His music is consistent, confident, and inspirational. A sonic orgasm!

I was falling in love with enigma since i was teenager, more than 10years and so on.. aways like enigma music style and lyrics..

Voyageur was a pretty good album and has some great songs on it, “Shadow In The Light” is one of personal favorites on this album. Along with, “East To West” Michael is definitely a creative genius. Whenever I need to escape from this world of troubles his music is a go to...🎧🌏⛅️ I’m already looking forward to another album I hope he hasn’t stopped making music.

From the incredible Michael Cretu, I’m currently listening to, “Rivers Of Belief”from the very first Enigma album and a top favorite of mine.🎧🕊️🎧 Takes me and lifts me to another place far from here by far the most spiritual tune I’ve ever heard. You’re right @Arjun with every enigma album they indeed do take you on an incredible journey and help to connect you to your soul. For me at least, from all of the chaos oftentimes and sadness in this life even.🥀🕊️🥀

When I climed the Ermita in Javea and saw Ibiza in the distance - it was a clear winter day - I thought : Over there lives the Enigma guy - one day I will go and visit him and have a chat about the real origins of much of his musical inspiration.

He doesn’t live in Ibiza anymore, and the house was demolished along with the studio in the late 2000’s because it was illegally built in a protected area. Michael resides now in Germany,

Waiting desperately for the next Enigma album. Is there any hope ?

I didn't like Voyageur at all when it came out, because it didn't have all those superficial bells and whistles that came with the previous records, like pop-esoteric attributes and heavily sampled exoticism that felt important for me at the time. It took me about fourteen years to give it another listen since those times, and that's when I discovered that it was actually perfectly in line with his previous evolution, and the core ideas were rich and powerful, while the production and mixing were still as sky-high in value as on the third and fourth albums. It feels like the end of an era, his style of songwriting and approach to sound has changed significantly after this one. Overall, a fantastic record

I like this interview a lot. MC has his way of living and does not try to fitting in, he does "his thing"and doesn t look for being adored or whatever, he just wants to do his music and that s it. I like his attitude... and the ashes of cigarette about one kilometer!!! (I am exagerating of course, but I appreciate him really much for the way he is) Such a professional! Really inspiring!
