Every time he said ‘sweetie’ it creeped me out. The huge problem was Kes was under the control of someone else - he was wildly intrusive but she was downright cruel to him. Her telepathic abilities were very interesting, however, I was relieved when they they wrote her off, even though the storyline was weak

Yeah that "break up" was so lame, it wasn't even her fully in her right mind. At least they FINALLY showed a scene with them, just b 4 she left the ship. Weird that they didn't show any b 4 that.

Its sad that after 3 seasons.... They just break up...like that...

According to Ethan Phillips who played Neelix, they had a deleted scene where they had a good conversation about how they're going different ways or whatever, but it was cut for time.
